nah make a night commando raid map instead where the allies must paradrop and blow up stuff with infantry.

much cooler  :D

blowing up the heavy water facilities? I would love that, night + commando = win.

Wouldn't we need Mosquitoes and those water-bouncing bombs for the raids on the Heavy Water Facilities?  There could be a ground team that needs to be inserted that could deal with some objectives, but some objectives that only can be reliably destroyed by the bouncing bombs or something.  That sounds cool.

Ok so I have been working a bit in the editor to train some skills.. I'm a noob mapper but i gave this concept a shot.

Here goes:

The briefing is very wip! But I wright it here for the feeling of a completed map :)

"This was the time when Churchill began to think about the need for an 'absolutely devastating exterminating attack by very heavy bombers from this country upon the Nazi homeland.' When on the night of 24 August 1943 the Royal air force began a attack to compromize the german warfactories along iron wall, the coastline. However the German Luftwaffe is far from compromized just yet."

Overlook, minimap is wip aswell :)

Factorys in the distance:

The white cliffs of Dover:

And lastly a overview form the ground..

Perdy. Now make a Lancaster :P
It's half naked people on boats. That's all.
Here in Finland we call that "summer".

Extremely faithful looking remake! You have a real mapping talent. Can't wait to see how this goes.

I'd also love to see you try a Battle of Britain remake afterwards - nice and simple, similar to this and the only thing that would need porting would be the Ju88, or possibly the He111 as well if you wanted.
