So you're telling us that you managed to find info about the armour thickness of M8 but failed to find any info about penetration values of probably the second most famous weapon in the world (involved in every war on the planet after the WWI) after the iconic AK47?

Yes, generally maybe, but I srsly didn't expect an FH2 player to actually know real life WWII armor penetrating values regarding to specific munitions. (yes, I'm shocked people know such "useless" knowledge in 2016!)

You know Odium manages a public server and plays daily, don't you?  He has probably just done that many times before.  It's surprising that you were surprised during a tournament battle.  In the recent past tournament tankers knew everything about their armor and the enemy's too.  In fact there are numerous spreadsheets, diagrams, and how-to screenshots with everything you wanted to know floating around in forum archives.  But those were the good ol' days when battle night wasn't just a lazy pubby night.

No I didn't know Odium plays FH2 DAILY (addicted?! :P )... Public games can be so unbalanced, with half server population not having microphones for example... And FH2 mumble still not running on any FH2 server...
And "in the recent past" FHT players knew armor and Ammunition things AGAINST tanks, NOT .50 cal...
+ "in recent post" they had more free time to invest into this... Nowadays every European FH2 player gotta work even harder for the so-called "refugees" from non-EU countries...
And "in the recent past" maps were not crashing...
