Oh Fuchs, now you are reading too much into it, as Donutz&Point put it so nicely, it's just the loss of anticipation that testers and new devs feel. :) You can't dream on how the new release will rock...ok you always dream of the next small patch which is quite nice for me... but other than that you have to wait and wait and be patient and always remember that everything is still WIP (even if it already looks sweet) and sometimes you wish so desperately to be able to play with the public that it hurts. :-[
Anyway get ready for a true bomb when Normandy hits you! ;D

Doesn't seem much, but it's me and some testers trying out a mini mod I'm having a go at for fun.
basicly, to put modern US forces against WWII Germans. I'm kinda taking the idea from the Movie Iron Sky ( http://www.ironsky.net/site/ ) where the nazies flee to the moon, and many years later, come back for take 2 on world domination :D
It ain't much though.. at the moment it's just German tanks vs US tanks on Tobruk. I even messed up some code in that release that we couldn't fire the main cannons.. anything but machine guns on tanks worked :-[
We ended up ramming each other, which was funny ;D

Hey that was this afternoon/start of evening.
I got confused by Desert Rat when he didn't knew what a Ratte was and then didn't wanted to look it up on Google :D Anyways that was a pretty fun match. Nailed some guys at the mortars twice with Gewehrgranate and 2 times with my steady rifle.
And in the match before it I managed to annoy Sgt-D when they had total control over all flags and I eleminited him and his driver (?) who where looking for us. Perfect last stand.

1. When you want to take a screenshot press PRT SCRN (print screen) on your keyboard, it's next to scroll lock. Then after you finished open MS Paint and press CTRL + V now it appears on the screen, do with it what you want.

The first FH2 player solder was the US Ranger Torch solder (RIP)... He died in a tragic hard drive crash. Remdul is redoing him from scratch.
Gumby was actually the 3rd character in FH2. He came after the Tommy. I was so confident after getting the tommy in game and rigged that I made a bet with Stranger than fiction that I could build and place a model in FH2 in 4 hours. I lost becasue it took me 6 hours, but I still felt it was a good accomplishment. I never put Blockhead in.. he is Gumby's nemisis. Model is built, but just not rigged.

OOO I was there too I was there!! I managed to get on the arty I had NTH spotting for me, it was h-h-hammer time. Had a great round on the same map yesterday took an M£ up to the doghnut ring and stayed there all round, go 52 kills, only Wooter2 spotted me so I got out an put a bullet in his groin for the cheek of it.

On that pic with the 3 Tiger Tanks...is that a swordfish plane in the background?It looks like it, I know there was a swordfish that was shown flying around in a news update a long time ago, but it never made it into the game. It might still be included in the mapping tools or something just in case someone finds a use for it.
Its in the editor files. Together with some other stuff like ships. But I think all of em are not ingame for a reason and should not be used since they will most likely be horrible bugged.
Aww Swordfish was one of my favourite planes in FH1. I always used to fly it in Bombing the Reich map as no one else wanted it. :DHey that was also my favorite plane XD flying low over the seas, axis fighters where always busy attacking the Lancasters and wellingtons

One time on supercharge hslan.*adminname* kicked me because he was all the time destroying by my cannons when in pz4, so he even can`t went to frontline.
But when you drop this 2 500lbs bombs on tiger, destroy flak18, pak40 ect, brits sometimes love me more than tea.

Try aiming higher, to take count with the bullet drop over distance. Sometimes I hit a prone guy because I aim about three times the size of his head higher than his head is visible in my sight. Over very long distances my kills are mostly lucky shots, though.Ah, I keep forgetting about the bullet drop, only when im using sniper rifles funnily enough...

You have uploaded them to the imageshack as JPEG (BMP would be too large for IS to accept it). JPEG is "lossy", so you get compression artefacts, fuzziness & stuff. You could use an image editor / painting program to convert the original BMPs to JPEGs yourself, it should have a setting for the "quality" of compression. Higher compression means smaller filesize and more artefacts, you could play around until you find a suitable compromise between quality & filesize.

It would be totally sick if someone made a Death Star Trench Run map for FH2.We already have the 633 Squadron theme title (Op. Hyacinth) so now we just need a map based on that film - Star Wars' end sequence was copied almost frame-by-frame from it (when it was not ripping The Dam Busters). It's notoriously difficult to actually make a bicycle explode. In fact, the only way I've been able to permanently destroy a bike is by tipping it over (where it does not explode), or dunking it into a body of water (where I'm pretty sure it didn't explode either). The picture shows the rider after he was shot, with no damage what-so-ever to the bike itself. Maybe if the rider (once dead) was hunched forward over the handle bars, it would be more convincing, but I'm not sure if that's possible or even really worth the time. Crete, last week. This was the time on hslan when there was a FUBAR disconnect session for a lot players. I remember me being left alone with Moose and some other dudes. We went from 32 vs 32 to 10 vs 12 or something. In this picture a Vickers MG got the best of our little Kettenrad and our beloved Günther.
Look closely at this picture. Why am I laying in the grass like a bitch? There's a Tiger up there. You can see it behind the grass in the middle. He never did see me really but my PIAT kinda let me down when it didn't do it's job...

Epic moment: Thorondor and me after our squad captured HQ on Lebisey after many hard clashes with our German counterparts. Thor is here aiming at German having a knife fight with one our guys. He's constantly missing, but that's not his fault. He's Finnish. So I stand up, fire of my Thompson in the direction of the issue and wham. Our friend is dead and Thor then picks off the German soldier with his borrowed STG-44. That's Swedish/Finnish problem solving.
My "RAWRAW" squad took Le Piereu quite fast with little resistance. Salle moved up our new APC Canucks left for us

That German and his mate saw me running around that halftrack as I was desperate and tried to escape them. I hopped in, but as they heard the engine went off they thought I wasn't in there anymore so they went searching for me in those bushes. When they couldn't find anyone, one of them decided to take that HT. But I was IN THERE FOR THE WHOLE DARN TIME ^^ What was even better though: I was all sweating and telling myself "Oh god I'm screwed now he's gonna find out I'm in here" - but NO he just tried to enter the damn HT and was walking around it probably thinking something like "Hurr, durr.. what the.. huh..." but he just "couldn't find his keys" and gave up walking away... :D

I just had a great round of Sidi Rezegh on hslan. Although I was on axis side which lost in the end, we managed to recap all flags after losing them and then the Brits and the Germans/Italians fought over the airfield for the remainder of the round, each having two flags most of the time. Thanks for all who played, it is a rare case where Sidi Rezegh gets played out the way it was intended.You bastard...

I manned the 6 pounder at Sidi Muftah just seconds after round start and managed to kill german tank after tank just as they appeared in my view distance. The whole german team must have rushed my position as there were up to 6 tanks in front of me sometimes. A stuka failed to bomb me, just like the first enemy artillery barrage. I killed 17 tanks before someone decided to shoot me. 12 seconds later I respawned and manned the 6 Pounder again, killed even more tanks until infantry rushed our flag soon after. Luckely I was nowhere near it :P, but seriously did you by any chance pick-up a kit from someone who just died. Could be a bugged kit which happens sometimes when you are being killed at the moment you throw a grenade/sathel/thermos etc. It will automaticly continue firing at the moment some else picks it up.
Last week it happend to someone who killed me at the same time I was firing a bazooka. In the deathcam I could see him picking up my kit and instanly the bazooka fired into the ground killing him LOL.

This screenshot actually caught my attention.. and that is because I guess I know why that vertical scope line is missing for me on Operation Cobra. Then again, isn't that scope supposed to be the same on every map? Damn, this is annoying, I'd love to snipe on Cobra so much :'(

that sniper was just a second to late ...It wasn't the sniper that killed me, I think it was just some rifleman with a garand. The grenade exploded after my death so it "flooded" the killfeed.
