Who makes a game involving the Greek Army anyway. The country is going bankrupt and there seem to be far more interesting countries to choose from.....


AFAIK the Greek army won't be playing a role (maybe an extremely minor as an independent faction? I may be wrong.) I assume the focus is still on NATO and Iranian factions... Greek Islands look sweet, pretty different from what we've gotten in the past. 


Just hoping someone eventually ports either A2's Chernarus or DayZ's overhauled Chernarus-Utes. :P

I have loved Bad Company since it came out! I reckon I've spent more hours playing Bad Company 1 than any other multiplayer game (except maybe Halo CE?). There wasn't a map I disliked; I tended to play a bit more conquest, but rush was still very fun.


I can't see why some of the more open BC1 maps wouldn't work well in vBF2. A few BC2 maps could also work, I suppose, though I'm in no position to make informed judgement on either.

I cannot speak for the other devs, but I have always seen FH2 as an extension of BF1942. The art and scenario representation may be rooted in reality, but the gameplay sticks very much to the BF formula (with some added quirks, of course). I find it hard to imagine any merger of the two teams--we all want something different out of our mods.  :)

Hey, modeling and texturing tools are easy enough to find--if you want something in the mod, learn to model and make a well-rounded application!  ;)

In the meantime, let's be glad we have people such as Knoffhoff carrying us to the Ostfront!  ;D

What kind of statics are you needing for maps?

I am currently trying to figure out how the whole bf2/fh2 modeling workflow works... I currently have been working mostly in Maya (I am an animation student), but I did a lot of model modification in gmax for bf1942, but all I did there was push and pull vertices, not really generate any original stuff.

The link below is an Sdkfz 234/3 I did last semester for game art assets class.  I modeled and textured the whole vehicle from the reference image shown in black and whiate at the bottom of the image.
