No problem. I just wanted to fulfill my role of the grammar nazi.

The superior German master language actually took the word straight from Yiddish.

(Where it is spelled with one T)
It´s actually from French. Yiddish and German are very similar as Yiddish evolved from German and Hebrew.

I've decided to paint a wall in my room. Now, having to be "special" I opted for the Splittertarn, seeing it would be a welcome change after years of bland colors.
However, I've encountered a problem, and it was quite expected.

The little splinters, raindrops as I call them, are causing me a major headache, as due to the rough surface of the wall, I can't make straight lines with a brush, and if I cut out a piece of duct masking tape and try to use it as a template, the paint "spills" around a bit, making a slight mess. Since the lines are supposed to be straight, narrow and sharp, the messy ones that I'm doing aren't really the thing I want.

So the question I want to ask is, does anyone have any advice on how to do this?
wait, you mean this isn't the wallpainting forum?

I would have though masking tape would have been better for the job than duck tape.

Hokay, I did it. Felt pens, but still a better effect than what I did with the brush.

Pictures on weekend, when the camera returns home, the cellphone one is bad.

Korsakov, thanks, I tried, but I guess I'm just not experienced and/or capable enough for it.

NTH, how could I make them with a roller?

I'm taking my own freedom
puttin' it in my song
singing loud and strong
proving all day long
I'm takin' my freedom
puttin' it in my stroll
I'll be hop-steppin' y'all
lettin' the joy unfold
