Unable to access warumdarum.de at home - but I can at work!

This started happening a few weeks ago.  I thought that the Forgotten Hope website was down.  It appears that I am unable to access warumdarum.de servers while using Comcast home internet, but I have no problem accessing the warumdarum.de servers while using Comcast Business at work.

Has anyone else in the USA experienced this issue?  Maybe a lot of people don't even know because they haven't tried anywhere else than at home...

I've had this intermittently for a couple of months, though my provider is British Telecom.

Is this ever going to be fixed?  Still unable to access warumdarum servers with Comcast, which therefore means that I am unable to access the Forgotten Hope website or forums.  Can somebody notify warumdarum about this problem?

You mean forum and website don´t work for you at home? IIRC, in case of EU only the website did not work, but forum was fine.

I had this problem a couple of months ago when I was out of town for a week. 
I wonder if it associates members with an IP address and won't let you access it with a different IP.  Try using a different computer at work or just be logged out before trying to access the site.

No, in my case it was the website and the public forums that were inaccessible, it was the private forums I could still get to.

Being logged out doesn't matter.  It always works here at work with Comcast Business.

At home with Comcast residential service it doesn't work.  But it used to.  This just started happening in October, as far as I remember.  I used to be able to access warumdarum.de at home.

I am not sure about private vs. public forums either.  I just try to visit this forum, or the main page.....no difference.

Ok, I notified our server sponsor and he contacted his provider about it.

While we wait for something to happen now, you could do the following to provide some more insight into the actual problem.

Open a command line (press start; enter "cmd") and run the following command and post its output here:

tracert forgottenhope.warumdarum.de

Do the same with

tracert fhpubforum.warumdarum.de

I wonder if your DNS servers can find it. You could try to use Google's DNS servers, to see if that works.

I will try that.  I am utilizing Comcast's DNS servers at home, but I am not sure what DNS server they are using here at work.

What I do know is that it WAS working at home, using the exact same DNS servers that I am currently.

The screenshots of the traces show that the DNS is working fine, but somehow there are only timeouts after the first router of our webserver provider.
Well, I forwarded this info as well and hope they can fix it soon. Please let us know when it works again.

Strange thing is that it works here at work.  Just a few miles away.  Essentially the same Comcast servers.
