Fantastic work to everyone involved.

Arty cloudspots and pinpoint straffing by the airplanes round after round against static weapons is useless now.

Setup time may be adjusted depending on feedback, being that this was a demonstration the code might have been altered for convenience.

I edited out ~6 seconds of 88mm repair to cut the boringness to a minimum

This sounds like it could turn out extremely glitchy... Think of the flying Pak40s... And I'm not talking about the ones mounted in the Henschel 129. :P

well talking ideas down is always easy and done with a minimum effort. Bringing them to frutitions is quite another thing :-)
Nobody says that this is the final version of this feature you know :-)

I actually like it and would like to see how it would play on a full server. I'm always for player controlled content in a game. Good work guys!

An excellent addition to the tourney play, didn't get to play around with them yet but I always thought something like this was needed for a more dynamic and widescale gameplay. It's great to watch the results of your hard work.  Congratz ForgottenHonor!

I find this to be a great Idea.  It would add a whole new dynamic to the game.  So many static weapons get over looked because every pilot, tanker and sneaky infantry man knows where they are.  With the ability to change the statics it would actually allow defenders to set up a defense.

@ Jimi, this whole game is based on one person representing a crew, think about all the tanks or arty pieces.  Its one person, driving, loading, aiming, firing the cannon and machine gun.

Cool feature for a tournament play where teamplay is organised, because it seems to be very vulnerable to server trolls. From the video demonstration it looks like you're able to place them in the most wierd places, also looks more buggy than most buggy features of FH2 :D

Awesome idea and implementation guys!!!

Only thing that's getting me is the fact that infantry are carrying the guns around in their pockets :) What about vehicles carrying the guns?

I'm thinking back to the FH1 days when half tracks would drop a deployed tripod MG. With the code you now have, perhaps half tracks/trucks could drop the static weapons. Alternatively, they could drop the weapon "seed" (need to be set up) and an engineer would need to "repair" (set up) the gun once it's dropped before it's fully functional.

I'm sure this would work in tournament play. You'd need to be all tactical and such, get an 88-dropping half track up to your position, then set up the gun.

Edit: I forgot to mention how awesome it is that the teams can now re-arrange the layout of static defenses in your mini-mod.

It is nice to deploy but i would like to see this:
One truck special for flak88 has ONE AMMO FLAK88 BOX and then engeniers (set up) repair them and flak is there!When you want to remove it it has to be destroyed and then you use special truck again.Special truck can be resupplied after some long time or     after short time if set up flak is alredy destroyed
