You aslo can make americans spawn in flyby C47 to create paradrop but it won't be really good for such map to be honest because IRL they landed few hours before the battle.

indeed, that I mean..

yes, on those maps the objectives are static... I am not sure only for the objective in the church(Anctoville).
I usually play as a German, but never defend the church objective...perhaps it's the machine gun in the tower??

It is a radio in the room under the top of the tower, I found out about them recently too.

 So?

You para-drop behind an ABC line instead of spawning out of thin air and group up in squads and attack the objectives thus squeezing the few hours of historical accuracy to a few minutes of game play.

Think of the ambiance it would add.

 ;)

Paradrop took place during night / early morning and it's a day map so, sorry but no for a paradrop from me, here. And what is the difference between spawning out of thin air in the C47 or in the safe place on the ground? If you wan't paradrop, find someone to create a proper map for you like St. Mere instead of breaking immersion with lack of historical accuracy on well looking map.

 Early Morning = Daylight

 Difference is Ambiance

Do you read posts or just see what you want to see?

 aserafimov,

To be fair, jan crusader is correct.

After more research, the early morning drops were just after midnight (i remember now)

so my idea of using C-47 to increase the ambiance of your wonderful looking map would be historically in-accurate.

However, the objective aspect is very possible.

Good Luck....

Looks beautiful. Love that mortar pit, so creative.  :) And of course the grass. More grass = better map.

Looking very good, can't wait to try this out. How close are you to previewing a minimap?  8)

Very close  ;D. I need to finish German side of the map, still need to add cable poles, stones, bushed and little more head-grows, Right now I am working on the US side of the map. Next week I could show you WIP minimap with the German flags placement...I think  :)

Looks very good! Would love to try it out and later on (if all is well) see it in FH2 as an official map :).

Why so serious? Is there some kind of hidden criteria im not aware of?

I think the community would be thrilled & mix in a few vanilla maps.

You guys really need to loosen up.....
