For clarification for everyone... Since I CODED and setup ALL the collision meshes for 80% of the tanks in the mod build.
Armor on the front is "X" thickness for all the parts that are facing toward the front. This means front of the hull if it is 50mm, the hull will be 50mm, the front of the tracks will be 50mm, etc.
If it is the side of the tank, the tracks, side, wheels or all parts that are on the side of the tank will be "x" thickness. Same with the rear, top, etc.
There is no real "sweet spots" on the tanks or any piece of equipment. As the thickness is all the same for that part of the tank that is of similiar armor type.
Therefore, the idea that shooting the track in the front will get you a one shot kill instead of shooting the center of the hull is bogus, as the front of the track is the same as the front of the hull.
Just like shooting the side track will get you a kill instead of shooting the side of the tank. If is has skirts, sure, but if no skirts.. Then the track is the same as the side.
