I'm hoping to see some Zb26s on the inevitable 'realistic Omaha map' - loads were used on the beaches IIRC.

In Red Orchestra the tanks have a realistic damage model where a good shot can dissable or kill a tank depending of the hit.

Unfortunately from what i have read in another post disabling a vehicle isn't exactly possible if i recall correctly, due to the game engines limitations. But im not sure, I would ask i developer if i were you

According to the Gun balistic calculator, the Hetzer hull can be penetrated from 500M distance, and the superstructure with EASE by the 75MM gun....

Dont forget, that when the hetzer appears, Far and FAR more shermans armed with 76MM guns are present.

When the Hetzer started to appear on the westfront, their where Approx 65% 75MM shermans and 35% 76MM shermans. And after Eisenhower made a phone call to Washinton, stating that no more 75MM shermans should be send, only 76MM ones, february, their where 50% 75MM shermans, and 50% 76MM shermans

Believe me, you are not the first one to find that.

That thing was in very very limited use (if even that) late in 1945.
Don't expect to see it it FH2 too soon.
(Was it in FH 0.7 btw, in map pack 6?)

It was in Spurning Fate, with the rest of the vampire equipment.

1:  I said that it would stop ANY shots.  IE, if it doesn't penetrate in real life, it won't penetrate ingame, that's how the game is made.  If anything, it'll cause the slightest bit of damage.  The 60mm, while technically penetrable, was heavily slopped, making it more like 90 or 100mm of armour.

Also, the 57mm and the 6lber are the exact same gun.  Its just that the Brits also got a few APDS shells, meaning they could penetrate much more armour.

2:  Jagdpanther= great tank, but just not important enough for Normandy.  Personally, I'd rather see the Jagdpanzer, as that was at least common.

3: ZB-26 was mostly in 2nd line and reserve units by 1944.  Therefore, the 21st Panzer Division would def have a bunch for Liebsey, and it would be a great weapon for Juno or the British beaches.  Omaha, eh, I'm not so sure, as the 352 was actually rather well equipped.

Who needs a Jagdanything when you can have a Maus?
It's half naked people on boats. That's all.
Here in Finland we call that "summer".
