What would it change if there were a few more details here and there? It's still one plane in one map only. It looks just fine and there's nothing that should be changed in that plane.Maybe we will see Ju52 in another map?
Thank you, that "first" i wanted to hear. I was afraid we wont see early maps at all but that "first release" saved my day.Don't say we wont see 1941-42 maps. They were important years so we have to see maps from those years!You won't see early maps in the first Eastern Front release. Why not? Because if the focus of the first released is narrowed as much as possible, then the content for the first release can be narrowed as much as possible, meaning the first release will take less work and therefore less time.
Ill throw a question to the devs: Whats so hard with the early maps? The only difference to late war maps is this: The vehicles were like t-26, t-28, panzer 2, 3 and 4 etc. I understand that mapping is hard but why couldn't you make maps from all those years from 1941 to 1945. Not just focusing to one period. Time shows what we see in EF.

as for the shields, there are hinges on top of them, so I guess it should be possible to open them.. and I don't think we'll see the Kate on Zis-5, it is just a different platform for the same weapon and it was replaced by this one later in the war which is the current focus of the devs regarding EF

Obviously this post has been hijacked by theories and conjectures, but 1 last thing.....
Perhaps the only hope for forgotten hope is a influx of new talent, that may come from the introduction of the eastern front. I know, judging by his Operation Sonnenwende map that "aserafimov" has allot of talent....hopefully many others will hear the call to arms and help develop the eastern front.
Can the devs speak Chinese or Japanese....if not, it may be helpful......
Anyways, i love the Finnish Suomi KP/-31 submachinegun.

Yes you should. It makes no sense if there's only 43-44. Why there's going to be eastern front at all then? Just wait and see. There is so much awesome stuff in 1941-42 and 45 that there has to be maps from those years.I bet the first patch contains maps from 43 and 44 but when time goes and new patches come there will be 41, 42 and 45 maps. I'm sure about it.I am getting hopeful now
