Where is the client version and how do I get it to work. Never used Mumble before.

Obviously on 762 forums, under Download:

http://www.762-ranking.de/fh2mumble/

And Mumble would be a great tool for FH 2 but I'm afraid current players won't use Mumble if they don't even want to use normal VoIP (which is not optional install, unlike Mumble)...
This sentence is intentionally left unfinished...

It depends.
If FH2 was made to include it as part of the standard installation, NOT optional, and FH2 started with Mumble, then the option is as good as with VoIP.

And with way more benefits. I think people would be happy to use it.
For now though, we need to rely on the early adopters.

This might be useful ... Or not, so far VOIP does the job quite properly and I don't want to install yet another program.

However, what upsets me is that someone completely RUINED the sound quality of VOIP on 762 since that Mumble is available ...  ::)

Please try to restart FH2Mumble again with the shortcut on your desktop.

Important, start FH2Mumble and FH2 as administrator.

So this is how i got it to work right.

1. Install Mumble
2. Start Mumble as Administrator and set a Username when it prompts.
* You will appear in the waiting room,

3. Start Fh2 as administrator.
4. You should see an overlay if you set it in Mumble.
*You are connected and ready to go.

I DO HOPE MORE PEOPLE MAKE USE OF THIS.
VoiP is good and all, but I think this should be the official thing, because it allows more forms of comms, like SL to SL, etc, which VoiP doesn't.

If it auto started with FH2 in a later version, it wont need ANY separate installer other than FH2 and it wont need complex setup. You simply start FH2 and it starts up also.

You can trust me. As soon as I finish my holidays, you'll hear my beautiful voice singing karaoke songs and yelling about Panthers into the mic and asking for arty, when there is no-one in the gun... :D

Mumble means I can also hear the "Enemy" if I am close enough to them ingame, right? And when I press H the tankdriver near me should be able to hear me if even if we are not in the same squad.

Cool will give it a try. How is the adoption on the 762 servers?

I think the mumble has been set up so that only your own team can hear you. At least that's how it looks like based on the controls.

Unfortunately not, but I'm not sure, can any 762 mumble guy can answer to that?

Yes, exactly and that's one fucking awesome feature.
