FEATURES

GAMEPLAY TWEAKS
- Changes made to both the J10 and F35B to make them more balanced. Please note that the J10 is a superior dogfighter to the F35B and as such these two aircraft will never be equally matched.
- AA targeting tweaked to make it more effective.
- Added checks to prevent "runway grieving".
- Various changes made to prevent cheating.
- Tweaked the hit detection, hits will be more accurate to the model
- Increased the time to go prone after jumping from 0.3 seconds to 0.7 seconds
- Fixed G36E HUD during sprinting to match other weapons.

Dice/EA has some explaining to do. We just went from a relatively benign CD check to something far, far worse.

As far as i understood, that securom thing was for getting rid of the need of the BF2 dvd in drive, not something opposite. One of the few things to look forward in the patch I might add.

Says who? I've not heard an official statement yet. There's enough reason to be cautious about this. When they said "remove CD check", it means just that, remove CD check. Not add further DRM. They should at least have mentioned it in a EULA or something. The phrase "Trojan Horse" comes to mind.

It works just fine. If it's not broken, don't mend it.

When that Dice dev said (paraphrasing) "we fought long for this, but we've now managed to convince [the boss] to allow us to remove the CD check", but then doesn't say, "oh hey, we added SecuRom instead", that's a very deceptive thing to do.

lol the funny thing about this is that all the guys at pr seem to be fine with whats in the patch (besides the fact that it could damage there beloved PR ) still. its about time EA got around to doing things the community actually wanted fixed (F*** u hackers)
