Considering that FH1 still gets 32+ players on a daily basis, hasn't had an update in 5 years, and was never anywhere close to as popular as FH2, your fear is quite irrational.

Based on statistics we can rather safely asume FH2 will have players for the next 5 years. Based on insider knowledge of all the upcoming surprises for 2.4, I personally think FH 2.4 will be more popular than ever. But I can't base that on statistics.

Honestly, even though I havn't been able to beta-test for the last 2-3 months because of school work, I can definitely say that 2.4 will definitely be as or more popular than the release of Normandy. Its really great and I suspect the community will love it as well  ;)
