How to edit the respawn time after being killed?

Just want to ask how to edit the respawn time after being killed.

By the way, in some cases, the respawn time is abt 10s, while some is 25s or more. What is the standard tht judge the respawning time....???

You can set the spawntimes as an admin via a console command.
Gravity is a habit that is hard to shake off

The respawn times are easy, I think you can do it from the menu when you add the single player maps to your playlist. Or is this just when you start a local multiplayer server ?

I had this problem with FH2.26, but it affected SP only.

Now in 2.3, it happens online as well... ::)


If you want to get rid of it in SP:

Go into '...Battlefield 2\mods\fh2',

Open 'gamelogicinit.con',

And add the following line to the end of the file: sv.spawntime 1


This will effectively remove the "killed" timer, but not the "incapacitated" timer.

The only annoying thing with this fix, for me anyway,  is the instant respawn if you get killed by an explosion, etc.



@NTH: Yeah, you can change it when you're setting up a Coop game, but SP only gives you one option: choose a map.
