No servers?
« on: 24-12-2009, 02:12:44 »
So i installed this game in the two parts and when i click on the icon the game starts up fine.  The only problem is that when i go on the multiplayer tab there are 0 servers.  I click update and refresh list but this does not change.

Now i honestly doubt there are no servers, so what am i doing wrong?

As Meadow wrote in earlier thread:

"There is a box in the 'filters' tab at the bottom of the screen that says 'Same Mod'. Check it, as well as unchecking the 'Ranked' box and you should start to see FH2 servers."

Also be sure that you are running the 1.5 patch of BF2

Also, sometimes the BF2/FH2 server browser just decides not to work correctly.  Hell, I think I've seen the entire GameSPY server disappear at least once.

If nothing else works, you might just have to wait a while for the server browser to kick itself in the ass and get itself working again.

In other words, if you have the right files, have the filters set correctly, and have BF2 patched up correctly, the problem might simply be with EA's server browser thingy.  But make sure everything's right on your end first.

Additionally, you can also see the servers here:
http://www.game-monitor.com/search.php?=undefined&vars=gamevariant=fh2&game=bf2

If worse comes to worse, you might be able to write down the IP of the server using game-monitor and then connect directly to it if the server browser doesn't work.
