Installing Bf2/FH2 on Win Vista, 32-bit Home Premium

Well, I finally managed to get my hands on the rest of my installation disks for BF2 and un-installed the game. Im going to re-install but any tips? Run in safe mode or anything like that?
If this install doesn't work then im just going to say screw it and wait for the 15th for my Win 7 comp.

System Specs.

Windows Vista 32-bit, running Home Premium Service pack 2
3 gigs o ram
AMD Turion Dual-core RM-70, 2.00 ghz
No idea what graphics card so i'll say the laptop model, Presario-cq50 notebook pc by Hewlett-Packard.

Any help is appreciated and if it doesn't work, thanks anyways

Tip 1: Install it, play it and post anything that goes wrong in this forum :-) .... good luck


Just make sure you install everyhting, don't forget the BF2 1.41 and 1.5 patch

If I recall right, installation order goes:

Bf2
1.4
1.5
Fh2

dont install BF2 on your system partition (c:\)
start fh2/bf2 with admin priviledges and also with win xp compability mode.

any other partition you like
the security options on vista/win7 dont like programs moving files around on their systempartition like FH2 will do. they block this action.

anyways if you only have 1 partition the guy who build your pc has no idea what he was doing ...

There is, it's called turn off UAC.
