Deep down inside i know you love me....

Question, should i go for an Intel-Core i3 3240 (s 1155 , 3.4 GHz , 3 MB)  @109.90€ or its more worthy to get an Intel-Core i5 3340(1155,3.1 GHz/6Mb) @172.90€ ? Do you think i3 is at its limit with newer games?

Seeing how the "football" thread is going up again, I was asking myself whether I´m the only one not being interested in football - other than playing it myself and watching international matches. The Bundesliga (national) and the Champions league totally don´t get my attention. I don´t see any sense in this:

- The club with the most money is most likely to win. Bayern München for example just buys the best players... now they are the best club in Germany? No, they have more money.

- Players don´t stick to their clubs. Whoever pays them more, they will play for. Is that player "our boy" as the fans call them? No, as soon as someone offers them more and their contract runs out, they are gone.

- Do the players come from the place they are playing for? Schürle for example is playing for Chelsea now. Does he have some inner bond with the city? No, as soon as someone pays him more or there is a more famous club, he will be gone.

- The players don´t have anything in common with the club/city they are playing for.

- All this just isn´t anything I can identify myself with. There is no club that´s "me". Just people making money and buying players from wherever just to be "better".

That - for me at least - kills all the fun in watching football. I never really got into it. Most people tbh seem to be like lemmings and watch it to have something to talk about.
He got banned for our sins. He was not the member FH forums deserved, he was the member we needed.

Football, probably the least interesting sport in the world, never understood what the fuss is all about.

Thank god there exist people who don't like football either. Out of my closer friends, it is more like 5% that don't watch football regularly. I really dislike when the topic switches to football. Then it is time to take a piss or go do something else more usefull and wait for the topic to end.

Been watching The Sopranos lately and one line from it by Furio Giunta pops up in my mind when I think about football: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_Yc-VfMJTs

For all of you not understanding what "the fuss" is about football. Take 1 minute and 3 seconds and watch this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_uHBvg_nh4

Pretty much explains why I love football with all my heart. Everything from the beauty of a well placed cross or a perfect sliding tackle, to people joining together - regardless of political or religious stance.

That video als happens to be filled with clips from my local team, AIK who I've cheered for since I first got interested in football.

And to you, Butcher:
I'm only interested in any of the major leagues and/or Champions league to enjoy well played football on the pitch. For loyalty, passion, excitement and sense of belonging, I turn to my local team in the swedish league, where the last 9 years, 9 different teams have won the league. The most even league in the world.

AIK can one year win the title, only to the next year be fighting for survival.
Go to a game, live. It's absolutely amazing.

Football would be absolutely nothing to me, if not for the fan-culture. When I'm at a game, I love every single person in that arena, we are one big family. If a goal is scored, you scream and you hug every stranger around you. It's great.
I see were you are trying to reach: "how can a 17 year old kid have such a thinking like this? why doesnt he wants to be like normal teens who whana get rich? and his plan actually makes sense, but is too damn revolutionary and good at the same time than is still doubthfull if it works..." - Damaso
