I need help. Quickly. I got a technical question I cannot solve myself.
I want to link somebody towards a youtube video. But I want to send the link onto a mobile smart-phone (iphone, etc.). Thereby I wanna send the link using a simple SMS.
I mean, I don't even have a possibility to connect to the internet with my 8 year old mobile phone. Otherwise I'd just google the video, watch it on the phone and send the link using a SMS/MMS.
I know that m.youtube.com is for mobile phones, but I'm not even sure if
www.m.youtube.com works properly. Did youtube register the 'm' or how is it supposed to work?
And would it be correct to simply pre-set an
m. to a youtube adress in order to send a link onto a mobile phone?
And can a smartphone detect a web-adress in an SMS and convert it to an useable link properly?
Does anyone know the answer?
Or does anyone know a website where this is explained properly?
Edit:// it seems
http://m.youtube.com seems to be the correct adress for mobile phones and it still works for the pc. At least.
