If they leave the threads, then they prove that there might be something to it, if they delete the threads, then they prove that something might be to it as well. You have to leave them a chance here. ;)

BTW: I can think of one million threads that WT fans are opening up on WGs forums that are all inflammatory and uncivilized, born out of just this single speculation. If I were an Admin at WG then I'd delete any such thread as well. :)

Perhaps the Server over at War Thunder just died?

World of Warplanes and World of Tanks devs are one and the same company.

I doubt it's Wargaming. I highly doubt they would risk their entire company on it. Probably some disgruntled WoWP fans. Wargaming did lose Round 2. All the people I know that beta'd WoWP play War Thunder now. WoWP isn't even on their pc's anymore. War Thunder has much more active players.

Can't wait for Round III: Ships and giggles.

Ha, it´s their own fault if they include some wacky shit into their game. Nobody wants that over actual aircraft-/ tankmodels which saw combat. Hell, WoWp doesn´t even have a Fw190 or the British. Instead you get nazi-stealth bombers. Eventually this attitude killed WoT for me earlier/ with the appearance of war thunder. Basically I was just waiting for something better.
