Greetings and New Year tidings folks!
My Acer 22” monitor packed in on Sunday night. Won't switch on and won't take any power according to the dead Led.Only had it around 3-4 yrs too.
It’s either a "backlight failure or blown capacitor or refractor failure"*
(common failure issues I found whilst doing some searching, and that I know nothing about!) one of those reasons I’d guess.
I have a mate opening it's innards today to see ifit's rescuable, but probably not.
So, now that 24” monitors are now around the same prices as my 22” was a few years ago, can anyone recommend a good buy? I don’t need one with in-built speakers, just something reliable. Not looking at Acer again, looks like they only last 3-4 yrs!
I just use a monitor for day to day pc browsing and of course FH2!
I’ve been looking at the Samsungs and an Asus, any other make I should be looking at? And, will FH2 be able to max out to the full 24" screen size?
Cheers!
