I feel like no one actually listens to the music people post in the music thread, so I thought this might be a good idea. Very simple, just listen to the song in the lastest post, rate it, and post your own.

You do have a nice 20th century backspin here.

If you cover an 80's popsong, you'll get some sort of 80's poser heavy metal. On the first glimpse, I see no difference compared to the original. Then, as I think about it, did the 80's song have guitars?

I was a child in the 80's, god, I hated the music in that decade.

Referring to Deadwood then. The first season is the best. The second season is a repetition from season one. Exchangeable episodes loosely bound together like episodes of the second or third Sopranos seasons. If you'd want to describe the content with one word, 'cocksucker' would tell it all. There is a harsh cut between season 2 and season 3 then. Felt as disappointing as the cut they had betwen the 2 seasons of Rome. In season 3 some characters make weird twists that are not comprehensible. After season 3 you won't complain about the missing 4th season.

But I thought every Sopranos season was a masterpiece, especially season 3 (1,3, & 5 were the best in my opinion) but I think even a bad Sopranos episode blows everything else out of the water. I'm also somewhat forgiving of Rome's second season because Mark Antony was my favorite character.
