Finished it on normal difficulty.  Only got stuck a couple of times, principally with the Amoebas and that level where you have to close off the two entrances to that station while being swarmed by nosalises (incidentally, I played this in the dark at about 2am, very intense).  God, the environment is so engrossing, certainly I felt like it was a very well thought out story.

I love the sections where you are on a mobile train and you can see the wires on the tunnel walls - reminds me so much of the London Underground, where you can see the same thing out the window.  If the Bastard wasn't so bad, I'd have used it more - I love the magazine on it sliding through while you fire.  Gotta replay it again, try at the lower ranger difficulty perhaps.

Im glad you liked it :)

I mostly played with the VSV. And the revovler shotgun with bayonet. But i recently became very fond of the volt driver.

If you liked the game try the book, the story is a lot better. And this is coming from someone who loved the game.

The story in the book is indeed even better, but just because it is great in the book, doesnt mean it can be placed into the game

altough there are some parts wich i would have loved to seen in the game

And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

Metro last light release dates confirmed under new publisher=

14 May North america
17 May Europe

Because Deep Silver bought Metro last light one month before the release date, they decided to give 4a games 2 additional months for bug fixing and introduction of ranger mode and other stuff wich was first ment to be a DLC.

Lets hope things go well.......

I hope it does not get too oriented towards action. And please no fullscale war in the Metro. The best part was the sneaking and exploring the dead or peopled station with their history and unique characters.

I think the big factions are going to fight just like in 2033. Let's hope that one big alliance stays intact and hopefully neutral.

Patiently awaiting this jewel, glad they kept developing it.

New 7 minutes gameplay footage by gametrailers. Looking forward to this game, still I hope I can turn off those hit markers, they just ruin the immersion when all other "hud" elements are incorporated to the game environment like clock and so on.
