Tank stealing and team switching are infuriating. One time I had a dude try and steal my M36 and, although I'm ashamed to admit this, knowing this dude was the typical 'charge right into the middle of a tank battle with a tin can' type of guy, I got up on the turret and knifed him, thinking I'll take the -2 and still be able to support the inf against Tigers and KTs.

How could I forget.

Part of the anti-tank rifle attraction for me is in the fact most players on the pubbie servers either hate them or ignore them, but it gives me no greater pleasure in FH to drag a PTRD up unto the mountains on Kharkov Winter, and wait for some German knobber in a truck to park on the north bridge. Wait for the flag to grey, the BANG. 3 easy points. 99% of my FHing is sniping soldiers or vehicles, now that I think of it.

I should add though, I fucking love AT rifles. Even being the selfish loner I usually am in FH1, more often than not I ditch the sniper rifle for a PTRS whenever I can and enjoy one of my favorite pastimes, Kubel hunting. Not to be confused with Opel murdering or 222 slaughtering.

99 times out of 100, you know if someone did it on purpose before you even see the respawn screen. I get more annoyed at the people that are just retards than the people that tk on purpose - those that are intentionally teamkilling will be kicked sooner or later, but it's the shitheads fill your Churchill full of 17 pounder holes on Goodwood that get on my nerves.

I remember once on FH1, Bulge, in the M36 Jackson, I got sniped out of it BY OUR OWN SNIPER and knocked out by some retard in the Sherman Jumbo in the same round. I was so pissed at the time haha.

I'd imagine a few were there unofficially, and quite likely scared the shit out of many a trucker, but they were definitely not used in enough numbers to warranty more than a single random hidden kit somewhere on a map as a treat to the more adventurous soldier, but even including that seems like a stretch.

I really wonder what goes through peoples minds sometimes.

Yeah, that shooting the enemy and they don't die shit gets to me sometimes. I know you're all probably sick of hearing it from me (and truthfully I just realized yesterday that 99% of my posts here are about lag or some whiny shit, so I apologize) but last night on Market Garden, I had my Thompson and a German was clearly afk right in front of me. I held the mouse button down for a 2-second burst of maybe 10 shots, just as a plane flew over me. When that happens, I literally don't get fps. As soon as a plane shows up on my minimap, it's like time traveling to 10 seconds in the future. When all was said and done, because of the dog fight going on, I (at about 10 feet away from this German) had used up THREE clips and gotten TWO hits. Finally I gave in and knifed him but come on.

A few more things happened to me on Nordwind last night. First of all, I grab the Sherman Jumbo (spawned as engineer). Took it and hid it in the trees on the east side of the map. The good thing about that position is that you get a great flanking shot on any tank/truck/apc that mindlessly decides to charge the back flags, but the con is any anti-tank german inf spawning at the 3rd flag, their natural direction of sneaking through the forest will bring them to you and you have to be extremely careful and look through the trees very often for sneaky fausters.

Anyway, I (more through the Jumbo being awesome than my own skill, truthfully) am there for about 10  minutes. The first three flags have fallen, and we (allies) are content to just try and hold out at the final two flags. Our arty is firing constantly, sniper in the church, etc. A panzer IV comes rolling out of the woods. First shot hits him, lights him up. Second shot blows him up. Imediately following that I knock a StuG out in one shot. No tanks for a few minutes, but I manage to machine-gun down two inf that were sneaking through the forest. Then the Tiger appears, and I take it out in two flank shots. Three more inf (one I know for sure had a faust) fall victim to me, when a Jagdpanther appears. I take it out with two shots, and then have a round bounce off the front of my tank. Searching frantically, I realize that the amazing defenders of our flag have allowed an enemy to get into one of our Shermans that spawn there. So I take him out. Then I have another round bounce off the front, and I take out a second stug, along with TWO hanomags. Unfortunately, in my haste to destroy the stug I hear the clank of a satchel. I gun it and fly out of my hiding place and into the battle. I turn the turret around and kill the inf behind me, and request repairs frantically (down to half health). I then take out a third Stug head on, at a quarter health.

'NEED REPAIRS! NEED REPAIRS!'

I check our spawn screen and see we have FOUR engineers BESIDES MYSELF, all within 200 feet of me, and NOTHING. I drive the tank as far away from the tree line as I can, and bail to repair myself, still requesting repairs. I see a comrade WITH A CARBINE run past me and into the forest. Just then, I'm hit by OUR OWN ARTILLERY.

As if that wasn't bad enough, earlier on in the round I had seen a teammate with a bazooka at the 2nd flag trade his zook for an STG44 WHILE A TIGER WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. Guess he wanted omg pwnz some noobz.

True fact - anyone with a wrench that doesn't use it should be kicked for a week. It should be perfectly acceptable to teamkill morons that are only interested in their own score.

Again, people, PLEASE repair tanks when people request repairs. God dammit. You have a wrench for a reason. One of those reasons is to keep the fucking Sherman Jumbo up so when a King Tiger rolls by you don't have to die 50 times before hitting it with enough bazooka rounds.

38
That does suck. Teamkills do get on my nerves sometimes but at the end of the day, a quick 'sorry' and 'np' is all thats needed.

39
I feel your pain dude. In FH1 I cant hit a barn with the Sten, whereas enemies with Mp40s seem to have almost rifle-like long range accuracy against me.

How every weapon sounds better in FH1 with the FHSW sound patch, except my beloved Bren.

Last night, on FH1/Orel. Sitting on top of one of those blown up buildings at the top left flag. Some dude in a Panzer III comes rolling along, I hit him twice in the tracks and once in the turret hatch with my PTRS. Goes up in flames. Then some other jerk comes rolling along in a jeep, caps the flag, and then gets into the Stuart that had spawned their when the Russians had it. Three shots and i blow him up. Respawns, gets into the jeep, and I blow that up with one shot. I'm getting low on ammo so I go down the stairs, run over to the flag building, reload and then break out the pistol. I cap the flag and then some goof in a 222 comes burning along, and I blow him up as he's going full speed. Unfortunately, when i got back to my hiding place, an Elefant came rumbling by. I frantically requested anti-tank support. The dude in the Elefant seemed reluctant to bail and cap the flag, instead just sitting there and looking south, and as I'd had a dude in a SU-76 respond to my quick f2+f3 I took careful aim with my PTRS, and sent a round slamming into the hatch on the top of the Elefant. I got hit indicators, so I did this 3 more times, succesfully getting hit indicators on two of those shots. The dude in the Elefant seemed to figure out what was going on, as he was spinning on the spot and randomly firing 88 shells into buildings, but fortunately, the dude in the SU showed up and finished him in two shots.

The rest of the round was mostly uneventful, but that was a good feeling.

I still play FH1 almost every night, and I'm allied more often than not (can't get enough of the Bren and Greasegun, ya know..), but even I am getting sick and fucking tired of the Axis bailing the Tiger/KT ON EVERY FUCKING MAP!

It's get ridiculous, lol. I can't remember the last time I played Ramelle where the Tiger wasn't bailed (or the StuG wasn't bailed, and the StuG would promptly hide and kill the Tiger), or Bulge where the KT wasn't bailed, etc.

Seriously, I remember first playing FH1 and this was like a once a week sort of thing, some idiot would panic at the bazooka rounds and bail, and he was yelled at and learned his lesson quickly. Or someone would bail with the intention of repairing the taken, and make the mistake of staying still long too long and then an Allied would run up and kill him and take the tank. But it happens every night now, I almost think it's happening on purpose.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like there's actually an influx of tards to FH1 recently as well. Maybe it's because people have come across FH2, but only had BF1942 so they downloaded FH1?

Last few nights on Pixel Fighter, we have a solid late night crew of 20-25 guys every night and the noobs 'joining' learn the ropes fairly quickly and most are cool but we've had more idiots repeatedly entering enemy mains and breaking the same server rules afterbeing told both by regulars, people wearing the PFC tag and by the admins on the console not to do those things before finally they all had to be kicked.
