Krätzer, you're too good for them! If you will give public what they want they will come for more and you will end up making Churchill Crocodile for THeTA0123 :P

Nice work, Krätzer!
What program are you using to record these? :)
-
:o
Impressive, good work!
-
I remember when I first suggested this.
http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=2865.0
Didn't actually think it would be ever implemented though.
-
Awesome work, really nice to see how it's done and to see a reaction to a nearly instant reaction to a community suggestion. Thank you!
-
Holy shit that's awesome :o
-
I HATE you for making this look so easy! ;D honestly WOW great work. Even though the videos are sped up you seemed to make this soooooo easy. Can't wait for the texture vids
-
KRATZER I COULD KISS YOU!!!!! :D Really awsome work, thank you ten times over for making this and recording it. I enjoy watchin stuff being made, you make it look like your simply putting a childs puzzle together. I know its much harder than that, and i feel watching it come together makes people appreciate the models more. I know its extra work but i wish more modelers would record their work.
-
Awwwww hell yeah Kratzer! You are the MAN! ;D
-
Could you by any chance upload that stuff in normal speed? Would be much appreciated
-
Krätzer just won a million cookies.
Awesome stuff. Now if you would be so kind to make the Stielgranate 42 for the sIG 33, that would be much appreciated
-
I must admit this'll give me a reason to use PaK 35/36 again.
Since the devs are making some suggestions come true I have one as well: work on the Eastern front exactly the same speed as it is in the videos or maybe 2x faster? ;D
-
Hope you have at least 5 of these things! And add many movable ones please!
-
Whoa,wait a minute.... they're accepting suggestions?

Allrighty then, here comes mine:
Errm, a nagant revolver would be cool.
-
Things that take less time have a higher chance of being accepted. This thing is one of the simplest things you can imagine. A Nagant Revolver will probably take 15 to 20 times as long to make as this.
-
Oh, okay. Something less detailed?
Hmmm....
A Luger with a drum mag? That would be easy I suppose as we already have the Luger model.
-
Krätzer, you're too good for them! If you will give public what they want they will come for more...

Yes, that would be easy to do. (Though it might require new animations...)
Now if you want to turn that into a good suggestion, you also have to include when it was used, how it was used, how common it was, ideally what maps it could be put on (which kits?) and of course reference material for modellers (i.e. pictures of the thing).

I'm not saying "DO IT!" Im just suggesting.
-
I suggest we let him finish this first, before throwing any new ideas at him. ::)
-
Sure. Besides, Krätzer doesnt model weapons AFAIK, Seth_Soldier is doing that work, isnt he?
-
What program are you using to record these? :)
Camtasia
Any chance upload that stuff in normal speed?
Nope, no chance sorry.
Speed is 250% in all Vids and will stay, cause they are boring for People who just want to see some Progress.
-

Don't you worry they'll rest with their suggestions when every single possible equipment, vehicle and map from the WW2 is added in the mod or the developing dies.

I wouldn't be so sure... FH 1 isn't officially developed anymore, yet we still get the occasional suggestions for it...

Dude, you're cooking with something more potent than gas.
Also notice what Kev mentioned, the Finns might get this puppy.

How can you be too good for your mod community? It's a win-win situation where fans are satisfied and developer work is fully appreciated.
-
If he makes a Churchill Crocodile I will have to ban Theta again, so yeah please make one.
-
i would really appreciate that churchill crocodile tough :> we have 2 maps were they can be used (Goodwood and brest )
If he makes a Churchill Crocodile I will have to ban Theta again, so yeah please make one.
Then you can name yourself "Regular banner of theta0123"
-
Dunno about Brest, the crocs were not used int he city but to storm the fortresses around it.
-
We are done, rest is done by Kev4000

Was not used at all in WW2 (lugar with snail drum I mean).
As for nagant revolver, isn't that already in FH2?
Also, god damn kratzer, that is a thing of beauty. :)

words from a betatester.... Should we move on to the conspiracy thread? ;D

Now you can consider PaK 35/36 as a serious threat. I guess we're going to see this mostly on the desert maps(?)
-
Awsome! Truely Awsome. Job well done.
-
I didn't think you were allowed to link porn to this forum... great job. That whole video series. Wow, well done
-

I'm reasonably certain it was not used in North Africa.
-
what's the deal with projectiles in BF2? can you change the model based on what ammo you have loaded or will the Pak have the grenade mounted even if you shoot regular HE/AP?
-
Wont it be just like a plane with rockets? They "change" after there fired don't they? Never paid that close attention i guess. :-\
-
Seeing the video's made me realize who many levels away I was when attempting to make a model.
-
Now you can consider PaK 35/36 as a serious threat. I guess we're going to see this mostly on the desert maps(?)
Nope, wasn't in africa. This was used in normandy and the ostfront, especially by FJ and Jager units.

So we can have this on PHL and St. Lo?
-
Yep that would work.
-
Whoa,wait a minute.... they're accepting suggestions?
They aren't. To paraphrase from another thread on the subject: It was done because someone felt like doing it, nothing more.
I remain cynical of the point of the suggestion thread.
-
Looks awesome. Keep up the splendid work Developers.
-
Excellent work Kratzer :o
How powerful is this thing going to be..little more powerful than a M1 Garand HEAT Grenade? :)
-
uh uh love it ;D ;D ;D
-
Excellent work Kratzer :o
How powerful is this thing going to be..little more powerful than a M1 Garand HEAT Grenade? :)
It had 2.42kg (5.34lb) of cyclonite/TNT. It could penetrate 180mm under 300m.

In otherwords, about as powerful as the panzerfaust is ingame.
-
But with longer range ofcourse
-
So it really packs a punch... Awesome! :D
-
As mudra said, same as a panzerfaust but with triple the range
The round also travelled faster, so aiming on moving targets will be much easier
Even the US considered a projectile like this for there 37mm guns, but the mass production of the 57mm anti-tank gun aswel as new ammo cancelled this project
-
The Panzerfaust mostly is not a 1sk against Shermans anymore. You only got a chance to kill it from behind. Will the PAK36 with this Grenade be movable for setting up ambushes that allow this style of attack? I fear that the awful reload time of this gun might be problematic when you are not able to kill it with your first shot.
-
Its a general problem. Seeing Kingtigers surviving 2-3 shots from a 90mm gun raises my eyebrows aswel.
Or a crusader surviving flak 88 hits ;D ;D
-
I've surly mentioned it earlier but try a SdkfZ. 7 reflecting a 76mm shell :D That's the best I can think of.
EDIT: Just the usual spelling mistakes...
-
my M3 halftrack bounched off a Tiger tanks shot on Villers bocage once ;D
-
Haha, angle mod has it's funny moments for sure - as long as you are not the gunner.
Well, let's not reopen old sores :P
-
My kubelwagen bounced an 88 shell on Totalize once ::)
-
Just when I think I've seen all the unusual WW2 weapons ::)
Amazing work ! ;D
Really interesting to see the videos. Inspiring for my learning in Blender (http://www.blender.org/). I think Blender automatically lays out the UV mesh, although manually doing it may make it easier later to paint the texture in. Of course I could just be saying this because I'm afraid of that stage being manual :o.
Could you by any chance upload that stuff in normal speed? Would be much appreciated
http://www.downloadhelper.net/ ... then slow it down in a video player, or extract all the frames using VirtualDub and view one by one, or use ffmpeg command line if ur in Linux.
-
But take care, these Videos are no Tutorials. I use some shortcuts, so you can´t see what i´m doing.
-
Any chance we can still see those videos?
-
Sure, they are public again.
