I was thinking about jeeps when I saw the little guy play with my Army men toys from back in the days and though about the game Codename Panzers where u had the Willy's and the Willy's with a 30 or 50.cal MG mounted on the back.
So... I was thinking that the Willy's has no armaments unlike the Schwimmwagen or Kúbelwagen. If it could be made I think we could have more variety and use for the jeep.

This exists in the game files, but currently not in any map. However, you could find it in the unofficial map, Ste Mere Eglise, just so you know the devs hadn't forgotten it. It has a .50 cal if I recall correctly

Yeah? didn't kow that. Played it 2 times 2v8 (I was in the 2) so we basically retreated all the way 2 the back after 5 minutes of fighting and ambushes. ::)

Hate to say it but I agree: the current M1919A4 sounds crappy.

I Mean, sounds lame, but its a sound you must respect.

meh... I still mentain that most of those sounds need complete overhaul... beefed up, and especially with reverberation that doesn't originate from the same sound file but works like it would in real life
Distant sounds are wonderful, but close up, most sound like pop-guns... .30cal is one of the sadest in that respect, compared to mg42 and 34 that sound epic... Or even .30cal in FH1 for that matter... At least, that with Brutwurst's sound patch

Point taken, but yeah as you agree it does sound tinny.

Most definitely agree on the points made here, and on a side note Bratwursts sound patch was godly, granted quite a few of those sounds were taken from Saving Private Ryan i.e MG42, distant Tiger sound (fap, fap, fap.), and you guessed it: the .30, Browning, M1919A4, but come on! they instilled fear, excitement, and immersion in the game. the FH2 .30 cal MG just... doesn't.
