I can host games, but I can't join them!

Hi guys,

I've been having trouble with this for awhile.  I can host a game online and have someone join (I give them a static IP etc), but when I try to do the same to join a game they've made, or join a server of the FH website, I immediately crash to desktop as soon as the game launches.  The launcher will initialize, the game will begin to boot, I'll see a split second of the menu... and then back to desktop.

I've got the game running on Windows 7 on admin, and I've tried disabling desktop composition, but no luck.  I've also tried running on Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode.

Is this something anyone has seen before?  Does anyone have any suggestions?  I scoured the forums, but the only thing I saw that was close seemed to get fixed by disabling desktop composition, which I've already tried.

Check if you have given FH2 an exception in your firewall/antivirus, it might help to solve this.

I had given it an exception and even tried simply turning off the firewall, but no luck there... thanks for the suggestion, though!
