Soon to be in Fh2 in every assault kit:

that looks like a silenced MP40...

Kommandoverband "Jaguar", 1944/1945

At the end of 1944 a special unit "Jaguar" was created, initially acting in the region of Krakow and had tasks the similar to tasks of 150 brigade used in the Ardennes.

Unit receive their tanks from tank repair plant in Braunsberg (East Prussia, about 62 km from Koenigsberg, now is Kaliningrad, Russia). Hell on Wheels (2011)

Watched the first 2 episodes. It has great potential. I do hate that Common is in it...

Yesterday (7-11-2011). Meuse river. Hslan server. German team.

Epic score. Epic round.

After 1 min the US had captured all the flags and soon we were at 200 tickets vs 400 tickets. But then the battle turned around. The City and Farm flags changed hands many times and we inflicted heavy casualties. In the end it was a close call but we took the victory.

one thing is that there are too many people, and too many differen cultures throughout europe. Cultures that have existed here for thousands of years. Creating one single union would cause much.. unrest (in lack of a better word).
Democracy is unfair/undemocratic enough in a single state already, having one union would only further extend the possibilities for corruption and lobbying. Plus, if the EU would be a sovereign nation, and every country "provinces" of that union, germany and britain would have to give up their veto rights (which they never will).

Furthermore, the lisbon treaty for example is a great example of how sneaky and 'corrupt' the EU is. The only country that decided to let the people vote on it was ireland. The people said no (for the treaty to go into effect it has to be a unanimous vote), then one year later they hold a vote again falsly claiming that they made some new changes to new rules concerning religion.
That's democracy for you

Agreed. A single European state is not desirable.

Funny, a draft constitution was already voted out in 2005 by French and Dutch voters. So they made a new one and the French and Dutch people had to STFU!

The Trip (2010)

Steve Coogan, Rob Brydon.

Steve is asked to review different restaurants in the north of England. Because his sort of GF is in the USA he askes Rob to go with him on the week-long trip. The movie is mostly set during the dinners and the trips between the restaurants.

Had some good laughs. British humor is always good. The impresinations of James Bond and Michael Caine are realy funny!
Its clear there is also some drama. 2 people in midlife cause that. I think the movie does not need that.

7/10 (I did not know this before watching but the movie is a shorter cut up version of a tv series.)

Still want to see True Grit and Tron Legacy because of the Dude!

Winnebago Man, 2009

The first 30 min were fun and then it all goes bad. It seems the director wanted to make some great life story documentary but he killed it with his over directing.

4/10

My top Bale films. ^^
1. Equilibrium / The Dark Knight
2. The Prestige / The Mechanist
3. Rescue Dawn / American Psycho

Watched first 10 min from The Mechanist. Bale looks starved!

Get Low, 2009. A story set in the 1930`s. This movie will you make you laugh and shed a tear. Great acting from Robert Duvall and Bill Murray. Its not your typical Hollywood movie because it has a good storyline, great acting and well thought out dialogues. A Must See.

i must admit i have no idea if this is even a "war zone" picture or what time it is.
but i thought it is kind of funny and would fit in here.

anyone knows anything about this ?

Its in Holland on 07-05-1945 if aim correct. Its on ''De dam'' where a SS trooper after surendering refused to give up his weapon. Some other SS troops hiding in a Cafe then begin firing at the civilians present on the ''De Dam'' who where waiting for the Canadian lebarators.

Believe alot more picture exist of this incident.

Some footage from that moment: http://www.dumpert.nl/mediabase/776701/5731c6f4/schieten_op_de_dam.html
