Because it's an interesting scenario for one.
And you couldnt find anything even remotely similar to it from IRL battles. Ffffffu...
Haha.. Well, I can't, I don't know how all the battles were fought in WWII but surely someone must have fought over a bridge at some point in the war.. However, with picking this map we get that interesting scenario AND a map that depicts the battle from that famous Hollywood movie. Yes.. it is not historically correct, accurate or in overall existence.. But players that have seen the movie ( and like it or even just bare it ) and are playing FH2 because it's a fantastic WWII mod, get to play that exact scene from the movie, Which they might consider fun.
The thing is we have lots of maps that are pretty damn accurate, representing battles that took place, with amazing detail down to overturned trucks at the time of the battle, with custom vehicles and stuff. We also have these fun maps we make for those that don't really care about all the historically accuracy and just enjoy good battles. This is even a very famous map! The reason to complain, whine and cry when ever we do these fun maps, is totally beyond me!
