Title: Prague uprising

on May 5, 1945 (so 65 years ago) began Prague uprising, in the last moments of the war in Europe. The uprising went on until May 8, 1945, ending in a ceasefire the day before the arrival of the Red Army and one day after the Victory in Europe Day.

Contrary to popular belief, It is not Mexico's Independence Day. I believe that is September 15.

And they won the battle, but they still lost the war.   ::)  Honestly its stupid of the USA to celebrate it, that's like us celebrating ANZAC day or Boxing Day....
