Expect a patch next weekend. If not, something went horribly wrong and it wasn't my fault.  ;D

New global ranking system ?

For ranking.

Well 762 already uses their ranking system, and basing on the fact it's sadly the only FH2 active server, making new ranking system is completely pointless...

Maybe im wrong, but i believe all remaining ranking systems will have to start from zero after 30 of May.

Thats why im saying that having only one ranking system running on every server will be positive.

Correct me if i am wrong please.

PS: Im dont care about ranks, but most of the public players do. And FH2 needs them.

Well, I'm also curious if these ranks stay on 762 after gamespy shutdown... I don't know if they're related to nicks, EA account or game guid....

It's great to see all the new Soviet and French armor, but where's the Ferdinand?

The tanks posted in this thread are only ingame because we forgot to remove them from the beta before packing the public version. It also happened to the M36 Jackson and the M26 Pershing before.

Aaah, thanks for the clear-up. It's a bit early for this... but I am curious how the Ferdinand will hold up against the heavy Soviet armor, like the IS-2?

According to some accounts, the Ferdie's frontal armor was "invulnerable in the front" and could take several hits from the IS-2 "without any effect". Being rather slow and without secondary armament, maybe this could be the balancing factor?

The Ferdinand and the IS2 probably very rarely met each other, since the Ferdinand was used on the Eastern front in significant nmbers only during 1943, before the IS2 was introduced.

That's true.

The example was from "Combat History of Schwere Panzerjäger Abteilung 653", describing a battle between the Elefant and IS-2s, dated 12 Jan/1945. But if I have understood correctly, the frontal armor was still the same (200 mm) and they only increased the armor on the hull bottom.
