Isin't there a town in west germany called Rhine?
or "Rhineland"?
Ah, you mean that nice little industrial town the French occupied back in the 20's...
Damn, are you serious? :p Surely you can't be European?

ok, dear conspirators, I suggest to read whole thread of that Sidi map for some leads, and remember - google is your friend! It's easy to find the church from that picture
There is church in Cherbourg, another Notre Dame, that resembles the church shown somewhat. But I thought it was already said there had been a Cherbourg map in the works whitch was scrapped halfway? Oh and wasn't Sidi Bou Zid already more or less confirmed?

Interesting how? By typing each town in Normandy? Each French gothic church looks almost the same...  ::)

Edit:And who told that it must be in Normandy?
Edit2: Somebody mentioned Cherbourg - is this bombed in 1944 church - link But, it was bombed...

Actually I have no idea what I meant.
Well I'm half Polish!  :P

EDIT: I think the town was called Wallendorf or Vallendar.

For those who don't feel like playing FH2:

Seems Legit.

A bit hard to click the image.
How do you post them here?

About the church... I forget if someone guessed this before but the one near the Vierville Draw is the only one I can find that looks vaguely familiar (even if the bottom isn't totally right)

also wasn't lobo's old omaha map (was mentioned somewhere) centered around that draw?

awaiting my 'dream-crush' ;D

Though the locations are identical, Cherbourg-Octeville, I don't believe we're talking about the same churches here. You mean the bombed out Abbaye- while I mean the Eglise de Notre Dame de Voeu, here, let me show thee.

Well, but your church has 2 towers...

Edit:This church shown by Baker is the most possible for me now... But Jan said that it is easy to find in the google, so I don't know if he meant this shithole...

Was it spotted in the past?

101st Airborne models now made.

I thought about it and idk if those player models even matter for that map. Since it takes place in the winter I assume the Americans would use the same winter player models as the 101st in Bastogne?

would be a great remake as that map was always fun to play in FH1

natty's post in the 101st renders news:
I wonder what maps we can see these soldiers in :)

and another one from a thread concerning night maps
Pretty much everyone in the team looks forward to a Sainte-Mere-Eglise map where you jump out of a plane and fight your way through the iconic town with the church and everything. This is highly likely to happen some day :)

my conspiracy sense is tingling...

On the first page it says "Ste Mere Eglise" was spotted on the server.
But that was 82nd airborne.
So I don't know anything anymore.

well that would require changing the division insignia, and maybe adding the us flag armband (afaik those were worn only by 82nd in france)

As I remember it was spotted on the beta test server quite long time ago (I think even before patch 2.4).
