Meet the Spartans

Hired this one today. It has some nice scenes and parodies, but some get repetive(Exept the "Yo momma" scene, that one was 10/10) Some where funny, some where not

Overal=6/10
-i am fairly sure that if they took porn off the internet, there would only be one website left and it would be called bring back the porn "Perry cox, Scrubs.

Out of Africa
- First time I'm seeing this. I thought it would offer more. Will have to it once more to make a correct call of it.

Ughh... this was such an intensely terrible film that its name should never be repeated.

Gran Torino. Others have said something about it already, not much to add, good film. 8-9/10.
Cloverfield. Not bad, didn't want to watch it, thought it was a pure Godzilla clone. Then got the tip by a friend and liked it, the handcam-style is not new (Blair Witch) but works really good with that movie, although it needs much more care in this scenario compared to BWP. Everything fits it fine except a few small details. 7-8/10.

I am to old for shaky cam movies.
I rate it at a 4 for causing me nausea. ^^

I thought you wouldn't be much older than me, but if you suffer from age-induced afflictions already...  ;D I didn't watch it in cinema, though, maybe it's worse there.
Otherwise I could see no reason why one would be too old for a movie just because it's implemented in a special style. That's rather more mature than the standard auctorial style over and over again.  ;)

Heh, if shaky cams make you nauseous then definitely this game will. Oh how you will hate me for this. This one can get pretty bad too.
Twilight - the movie is just like Schindler's list... You know you're watching a crime against humanity, but it's sort of entertaining.~~Ts4EVER

Hahaha nice Fresne, but I think I can put something on top:

I remember, a few years ago, I completely darkened my room, put this thing up and staired in the middle of it for like three of four minutes, then quickly put the light back on. I SAW EVERYTHING IN GRAYSCALE for half a minute and the whole room was waving like melting cheese!

After enjoying "Shawn of the Dead" quite a bit, I got the next film in the series:

Hot Fuzz

The film stars the same two main character as SotD and a similar style in direction and humor. Instead of Zombie films, American police Action films are parodied this time. The main character is a hero cop who does everything by the book and thereby makes the rest of the london police service look bad. Because of this he is transferred to a sleepy province village, where he of course discoveres a devious murder plot, resulting in an incredibly funny shootout that parodies every over the top action film you have ever seen. (Bonus points for the SMLE and MP34 that were used). I actually prefer it to SotD and can only recommend it to everyone: this movie is just funny as hell.

9/10

Holy Craaaaap Schneiger...

After about three minutes I started to see the faces of presidents past floating serenely in the background, organized in an elaborate fractal pattern. And everything is now in greyscale, too.

Um, I haven't seen any presidents yet, but I'm looking out for Taft. Ooh, and Jimmy Carter!
