Background Movie Replacer
« on: 04-11-2009, 23:11:54 »
Hi guys!

I got pretty bored with the standard colorless background movie, so I just did one myself.

You can watch a preview video of it HERE

English and German installation instructions are included! :P

And if you know some more really uber awesome color footages of Africa and Normandy (especially with brits, since I didn't find any good ones), just show them to me and I might do another version :)

Have fun!

You could add a few clip of Josephine Baker ( with her banana skirt ;)) and Marlene Dietrich or picture of pin ups like the one they painted on airplanes...

Put it together with the old one in one long one...

The old one is nice and pure nostalgia so cant take it away

But this one is about having awesome color footage. If you mix it, that would be ugly.

Another thing that I don't like about the old one is, that it shows so many places, that aren't part of the mod yet, since it was just ported from FH1. My replacer focuses on what is really inside the mod right now :)

nice work

There's quite a lot in already, but I might also do splitted versions, if you guys can show me some more usable footage...

Great job, champ. :)

As far as more footage goes...

I saw a TV doco a while back called 'The Colour of War', which was all colour (not colourised) WW2 footage.
