Will the 105 Sherman have spotting ability this time through?
So they are so infallible yet they can't even communicate and work with each other... sounds like politicians.

105mm Shermans were in FH, but they were not artillery tanks. Just like irl they werent. They were fire support vehicles like StuH's were.

Unlikely. It's a direct fire support vehicle comparable to the StuH 42.

If evidence could be found to support that they were used indirectly, would this be considered?

All kinds of tanks were used in indirect fire roles, my grandfather used a Pershing in Korea and has pictures of the tank on an embankment so they could use the 90mm as artillery. Could be a neat feature to add to all tanks, get enough teamwork going and it could be useful.
So they are so infallible yet they can't even communicate and work with each other... sounds like politicians.

Sherman Crab and Churchill Crab - and the machinery is called a "Flail".
