Actually, remember that planning to add several villages and tpwns on one map, make you use scale, so you loose historical accuracy, and sometimes some of the things you've planned on the map don't go as you've expected, for example, the bir hakeim flag on gazala 64.
FH2 Dev (wait seriously ?)

So if we are recieving a "Stavelot" map and Trois Ponts is just to the west of it by some miles, why wouldn't we have both towns in one map? We have had maps in the past covering more than just one battle within it. Wouldn't it be more logical and less work for the devs to group up the towns for just one big map?
Well it wouldn't be less work because whoever was creating the map would only have to make one town in the one map...

That just means they are viewing a thread in the not public admin forum or using an administration function.

Nice Stavelot conversation btw. I will now pour further fuel into the fire by posting a photo I took not 20m away from Stavelot bridge.

It is a monument for the battle. The pixelated guy is known around here as Strat_84.

I knew that was Strat because there were no women around.

And finally, Kraetzer surprised us with a nice gift: he bequeathed to us three Japanese AFVs, which were originally created for another purpose for which they are no longer needed. They are the Ha-Go light tank, the Ho-Ki APC and the Te-Ke tankette. All three of them were already in BG42 for a long time now, but in a much worse quality. The new models however are very detailed and nicely textured.

I wonder what the original purpose was?  ::)
This sentence is intentionally left unfinished...

Doesn't Kraetzer also work on Hell in the Pacific for ARMA2?

Still, these look pretty FH2.

So, at first FH2 devs wanted to create the pacific, but then they saw the end is near (noo... noooo.. dont even think about it) and they gave up on pacific? According to this scenario.

The devs have made many models for many fronts mostly as proof of concept iirc, there was some Pacific front stuff made to see how boats, carriers etc. would work, a French plane, Rad made Ranger player models for Operation Torch too I think. Not all of them have been used not because the devs think the end is near but other things are more practical atm.

I wouldn't doubt that Mr. Lightning himself has a HD full of FH2 material in locked security box......

I've spent many late nights staring at the stars contemplating what the future of Forgotten Hope holds and what unannounced content lies lurking in the vast expanses of cyberspace...

Partly why I love this thread!
