I would, but I've got no mic and no TS3... 

Well it's not that a mic/headset is that expensive... I got a crappy one I got for birthday present (some no-name brand worth approximately 1.99$) like 6 years ago and it's just fine for the tournament... I'm not used to chit-chat so it's ok for the few acknowledgments and contacts you have to report during a tournament, and the few jokes you make while sitting in a ditch for 15 minutes with no action on your designated flag....

That seems quite old, judging by the mini-map (2.15, 2.25?) but I'm pretty sure the map is still played in FHT. Why not sign up? You seem to be having too much free time anyway...

You really should get one then, if I had more time, I still would be playing in Forgotten Honor Tournament, best "battle" feeling I've ever had in FH2 so far.

Indeed. Current campaign is still in testing phase with Scrim 3 coming up this Friday. Next week Battle 1 of the real tournament. The custom maps played in the tournament are enjoyable and the "battle-feeling" is guaranteed. Join

Wish I could join tournaments but my ping is always 250+

Same as when i started, don't worry its great fun too once you get the hang of where the enemy might be after 250ms . Besides you can choose a supporting role like arty man.


And i had that ping because i was "borrowing" connection from a neighbour.

I don't mind having high ping in other games, just means you have to lead a bit further, but in BF2 the game just seems to clunk really hard with high ping. Especially when looking down iron sights, or going from sprinting to walking.

 Sure wish there were smaller 1-2 map releases every 3-6 months instead of the marathon 14 month waiting period.....

 More Normandy maps would be good as well.

I have 2 theories here:

1) The initials of Gold Beach are "GB". Maybe refering to "German Blitzkrieg" or "Germany,Berlin" or I am just doing this wrong.

2)

Perhaps you guys are leading us to an opposite path. "GB" could be refering to something else...
