The thing is "a few touch ups" soon become a full "run of the mill" in terms of time taken to fix all the issues of a map... So they might as well make their own ones and be sure not to make "beginner mistakes" most inexperienced custom mappers tend to make...

Community always get new maps each release because devs are working hard on making them all the time also they've already found their custom maps but they're making "few touch ups" internal. No need to vote here.

Problem is that FH1 had many custom mappacks. FH2 doesnt have any... FH2 has something like ~20 maps where 10 of them are server killers/unplayable and other 10 are simply overplayed. You jump on the server you play the same maps at the same time each day... And when the server reaches the fifth map, it crashes and all "fun" starts from the beginning... In FH1 times you could jump on the server and play different maps EACH evening... People are simply getting quickly bored and stops playing it...

What's the problem, the devs are working as hard as they can, the mod is great, the people are (mostly) awesome so I don't see a big problem....anywhere?

I mean surely FH2 isn't living it's full potential (which would mean at least 2x more developers and 4x the player base), but as it is now I think it's far from "objectable", if it's such a problem that there simply aren't 100 available maps, why don't you start making them yourself? Or get in touch with the guys from the "modding" boards and make something nice which will be accepted and implemented?

The only problem is 762 and their "random" map rotation... If it's random, how come I always play the same maps there?

Because most of the custom map suck >:( and it take time to make them good enough. ;)
