Re the "501", it's probably the vehicle number of the Ferninand of schwere Panzerjäger Abteilung 654, immobilized (and subsequently photographed) at Ponyri during Battle of Kursk. Incidentally, this also tells that there is a non-Prokhorovka map of the battle in the works, probably indeed centered around Ponyri, "the little Stalingrad".
