Plane Physics: Old or new?

This is related to the Plane Physics thread.
I think this is the best way to know the actual opinions of the people.
To avoid influences...voting will be secret...and results will be released next Friday!

I dunno really. The new plane physics introduced some good things, but ruined the balance between planes

In 2.15 it was clear=ME109 won in Diving and climbing, while Spitfire won in manouvering and turning.

Now it is more ME109/FW190>all

Old are definitely better. It should be easier to infantry men as well when they don't get strafed by every newbie pilot. Planes would also have better chances against Anti Tank guns and hand held LMGs.

Airfield probably wouldn't be so filled with pilots either. Hope they would make typhoon shoot its rockets in faster ROF as well, that would also solve the Normandy tank busting problem with fast planes.

Voted.  :)

P.S: If votes are concealed to avoid influences, maybe should we also avoid comments for the same reason ?

mmm, lemon fresh.

Plane physics will always be debated.  For and against.  Best to just go with it  :-*

Its hard to choose for me.. On one hand I can finally fly and hit something and feel I'm in control and hence no longer need external view, but then I do want planes to be according to their real counterparts, at least in a scaled version i.e which plane does what better etc..

The physics were changed so it was more "user friendly" and because people were complaining that it was too difficult. In my opinion, flying a plane shouldn't be something you're good at instantly. It is a skill that should be developed and require practice.

I voted old, but to be honest I'm not much of pilot.

However, before they felt more realistic in the short time I could fly them before I was shot down or flew into something, where as now even though I can hit stuff a lot better(with the guns, not the plane 8)) they just feel way too maneuverable. The way you can go ridiculously slow and still get lift and make turns makes me feel like I'm flying a hovercraft whenever I try to land or take off.

I'm with you.
If you can jump into a plane and get a bunch of kills right of the bat, something's wrong.

Same here,

Flying feels cartoonish and is way too easy. I'm mostly a groundhog, I think that making flying somewhat more difficult again will also make it harder to hit targets on the ground. Right now often when an airplane sees you, you're dead no matter who's in it. Not a lot of 'chance' there ;)
