anyway with this documentary i was watching which is mentioned in my original post i think the map could be based on then first phase of the battle. Which is like a push style (like supercharge...sort of) map as the Americans fight there way through the Forrest. That is just one way it could possibly be done...

Hey people.
i am posting as i am curious of how people feel about this battle.... sort of... im not sure exactly how to put it. Anyway i was watching a documentary called "The War" and while watching it i learned about the battle of Hurtgen Forrest. I have always looked for battles that happened between Normandy and battle of the bulge and never really looked into it that much. What are peoples feelings towards this as a way to link the Normandy campaign maps in FH2 to the new BoB maps comming out (when its done of course). It might be just me but i feel like there was always something missing besides Operation market garden of cource.... anyway i thought this might be a good discussion, its not really a suggestion but more i that im curious about what battles are in between BOB and OMG and Normandy. please post any examples

I have revived this thread as i did not want to start another thread on the exact same topic.

Can we plz have a coupler view, its just a pain in the ass only looking down the sights all the time in the 37mm gun position. I was only reminded of how annoying this was when play a SP game on abreaden the other day. anyway sorry for reviving a thread but this is a decent cause imo.

it cost $400 000 to fire a  MG42 standing up in FH2 for 12 seconds............................

can't we just use the gumby models.

finally some auzzie love. man i am so used to 300+ ping, i wonder what 50 ping will be like , anyway i wish i could play this sunday but i got english hsc exam to study for. But ill be on whenever i can, THX AEF & PEEPS

if the m12 or hummel get implemented why not keep the limited amount of ammo and when the run out  make them return to base and resupply. that way it takes longer between "barrages" and eliminates the need for a ammo carrier.
