hslan battlerecorder
« on: 21-05-2010, 11:05:35 »
I've seen hslan got a battlerecorder but the problem is every time I want to download a battlerecorder file, it says it's not existing. Is it a bug or it's just me?

I don't think they've set it up right.
However I found a link on hslan that should have the downloadable files, I haven't tried getting any from it yet though.

You mean download them via the "Community"-tab? If I´m informed correct that doesn´t work properly, that´s why we have uploaded them there.
We need to be able, to throw Thermos out of Spotterplanes.

Yep.
Any known reason why it doesn't work?

EA Games, I don't think it's ever worked.

If you want to snoop around all the game servers that run BattleRecorder just go to...

http://www.game-monitor.com/search.php?order=players&vars=gamevariant=fh2&game=bf2

Click on the server you like e.g. HSLAN...

Then just below the Firefox toolbar addvert, click on the SERVER VARIABLES tab.

If the server has Battlerecorder running the link will appear in those details.  Remmember that not everyone runs it, so expect to find no link in most cases, the F|H servers seomtimes run it, hslan does and some switch it on for a few ngihts only.

I need to have the battlerecorder files of Operation Cobra from about an hour ago. I do not see them on the site yet, is this because the site doesn't update regularly, or what?

I crashed around that time too. I filed a crash report, so at least there has to be some data somewhere. If needed, I can post what I did etc here too.

I know Slayer, I am using the battlerecorder to analyse crashes. Your report and the report of someone else who crashed at the same time as you, another report and my own crash all took place around the watermill in Cobra. There has to be something wrong there and I hope I can find out what it is by looking at the recorded file.

At any rate, thanks for the crashreport - it was of much help.

It wasn't a server crash, it was a mass client crash: multiple players get disconnected, but the game goes on for most of the players like nothing happened.
