the physical test: for maximum (100) points you have to meet the quota (71 pushup and 78 situps in 2 minutes (each) and run 2 miles in 13 minutes), and to even pass the test you have to get at least 50 points, which would translate into 35 pushups, 46 situps and 16.5 minutes for a 2 mile run.

So you have to get 150 points to be graded as "sufficient".

"excellent" - 300-240 points
"very good" - 239-210
"good" - 209-180
"sufficient" - 179-150
"insufficient" <150

The rest consists of health and psychological examinations and I'm not quite sure if they translate into points. I suppose those can only cause negative points, or none at all (if you're healthy)

I think I can pass it, but I'm quite sure there will be 50 of them who will do it better (You guessed it, they accept 50 candidates)

Don't know where you're from but my guess is that you will be surprised by how many are worse than you. Just try your best and you may just make it.

Indeed, when I did it, we had quite a number of candidates who hadn't even looked at what they had to do beforehand. For example they didn't know that they had to do a standing long jump. Result being that in the evenings before the sports test (the whole evaluation in total took 3 days), you could hear quite a number of bumps in the accomodation, from people practising standing long jumps for the first time...

Ex Yugoslavia, Bouras. And not the FYROM! ;D

thanks, I guess you're right. It's a brand new college, enlisting its first generation. So I guess it's not that popular yet. 450 people applied so far, we'll just have to find out!

Keep practising, and one day you'll be able to do that with a 2x4.

puttin' it in my song
singing loud and strong
proving all day long
I'm takin' my freedom
puttin' it in my stroll
I'll be hop-steppin' y'all
lettin' the joy unfold

I think I'd fail it.  Certainly the pressup part.

Well, i have set a goal for myself, i will run the 20km of Brussels next year. I tried to see what i had in me today, i ran a km, slowly at 10km/h, i felt like i died. A long way to go it seems. 3 years of doing nothing seems to have taken its toll.

What my program will look like:
Tuesdays: swimming, will try to train till i can swim for an hour.
thursdays: cycling, 20km as fast as i can on a regular bike. Later i will increase the distance till it stays around 1 hour.
Saturdays: running, don't know yet, maybe first do 2 minute run/2minute walk and build it up when i can till i can run 12km in an hour.

If i can succeed this within 5 months i will be a very happy person.

Tropico 5 sales increase as FH2 community becomes aware that you select "Damaso" as your name.

I immediately thought of Damaso too when I saw that video. Delusions of grandeur.
