Well you could still voice your concerns, this is a serious accusation and it doesn't help voicing it in another forum and thus deepening the rift between "us" and "them".

Tanking is a joke, plain and simple. I seriously do not know who came up with how it is now.

Shots are not registered, driving back is not working, can't turn in a tank and weak tanks from the other side became as powerful as a LeopardII. and then al the bugs.

Excample (1 of of the many)

I am in a KT, see a hellcat drive away with his back exposed to me (not a good tanker) I shoot him straight in the middle of the back, not even smoking, Hellcat turns, aims and kills me in a reactionshot at once. This happened not one time, I have came in this situation 7-8 times, fom Shermans to Hellcats to the new KT cromwell. It is not bad luck, it is not luck for the other one, it is simply damaged, a joke. Back to vanilla with all weapons equal, but even that is not the case.

It is ruined and to fix it means go back to FH1, and put these physics back in. or at least to the earlier set up.

Note: I appreciate the time devs are putting in, and that this mod is for free, but what I do not understand that there is someone that ruined something that was great into something that is just ....

Ashame.

And another bitching post wich so complety supports the german side. How about the simple fact that you need 3 shots on the side of a panther tank with the 75mm gun? or 2 shots on the side of a Kingtiger with a M36 jackson?

These are all guns wich penetrate far more armor then the thickness they penetrate. Not to mention that these shells slam right into the ammo racks of pretty much every german tank side armour

Do you actually see, that dutch plays on the FlH team? This means that he will play for sure more on the axis side and this will let notice him problems on the axis tanks much more. Would be cool, if you would start to use your common sense before stigmating people to be biased. If he noticed such situations while driving german tanks - and that's his job I guess - then why the hell shouldn't he notice those problems?

He isn't the first guy complaining about the tank system in general, so there must be something wrong. But we have the other threat to give feedback on the tank system in a more detailed way.

Bad news, M36 doesn't have special ammo, and second bad news, M36 can't one-shot KT even from the side or rear.

AFAIK the M36 got his special rounds removed and i can confirm myself that it needs at least two shots on 90 degree angle point blank range on kingtiger to kill it. Hellcat thingy is also odd, but so are indeed many tank engagements on both sides.

So I wonder how I was shot from the side by M36 when I was in KT... And M36 had special rounds in the previous patch and it was possible... It's rare tank - only on 2 maps as I remember - on Meuse River (where I don't like tanking, becasue you can't flank enemy tanks there) and on Bastogne (where I prefer Axis side), so I could not know it that it was changed...

Now 2.45 has been out for a while, what are the general feelings on Sector Push. I feel bad criticizing any part of what was generally a phenomenal upgrade on 2.4, but (perhaps due to my own stupidity) I pictured Sector Push when I read about it as a way to prevent back-capping and focus the action, in maps where SP was needed. This, it does admirably. But I hadn't really expected that it makes counterattacks completely impossible. I'm sure there must be a reason for this but in my opinion, Sector Push maps are great early on and very exciting to defend flags you can't recap, but the second you lose them, you become angry that you can never even attack those flags again. It seems the mode is a double-edged sword, as for an example on Falaise the fighting is concentrated and fierce, but feels totally one-sided since the Canadians can never retake the town. On Cobra, it feels weird to go through ferocious fighting for Farmhouse and Watermill, and then for the next half an hour, there are no Germans to be seen.

Are the devs happy with Sector Push? Might it be tweaked in coming patches?
