Shortcut doesn't point to mods/fh2. It points to root folder FH2 and when I add that within AND outside the brackets after fh.exe in the destination path, it tells me that location cannot be found...

You should have this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\ForgottenHope2.exe" +modPath mods/fh2

now you add +menu 1 +fullscreen 0.

-> "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\ForgottenHope2.exe" +modPath mods/fh2 +menu 1 +fullscreen 0

Thats it.

Nada! No error message. Once I click join server after the map has loaded, it simply closes.

In fullscreen, you actually saw a split second of the map and then it quits.

It surprisingly works in SP though, but for 64 (reluctant to try 32 or 16), but without being able to change bot ratios, it is impossible to even set foot on the beaches as American.

The SAs don't match the CPs if I remember correctly.
Too many of one or the other.

SAs? too many of what? What do you mean? Can this be the reason for a crash?

@Djinn: I'm sorry, I can't explain this  :-\ I can only advice you to take the server.zip/gamemodes/sp3 folder, extract it and rename it to gpm_coop. Then insert it again into server.zip/gamemodes and overwrite. Now you should have the working SP but with coop settings.

I've uploaded a new version. Maybe it will work. I don't have that much hope but you could give it a try.

I gave it to a friend and it now works for him. If it's still crashing and you don't have ESAI, that could be the reason(was the reason for him). Intsall ESAI. Enjoy.

I'll be reinstalling FH sometime in the next couple of days.

I'll give it a bash as soon as I do it.

Version #3 still goes directly CTD.
Added EASI no longer crashes directly.
But I find it a little laggy and after 5min or so crashes.
Kind of like the mistry crash that we had on totalize in 2.25
If I swap out the gamemode files for sp to coop the map is a good match with no crashes.

Where can I find this map with it still setup as brit / german.

I know that it crashes when you don't have got ESAI. Thats why I told you to install it first, but if you don't want to do this, you can also remove the "strategies.ai" file from server.zip/gamemodes/gpm_coop/16/AI.

I can't explain why it's crashing after some minutes. Neither I, nor my friend or my brother have this crash on thier vanilla Fh2 2.4 (+ESAI).  Maybe too much Bots?

The map with Britians can still be found on a page (don't remember the name), but there you'll have to register. I'm uploading right now, so I'll soon add the link to my first post.

Is Gold Beach running in COOP with version 2.4?

The download-links in the first post are dead.

Can anybody reup the map?

Hi,

did any one got this to work? I still get CTD when trying coop. SP worked, but not once did I get to beach :) MGs were rather leathal.

I have changed the bot ratio to 96 and AI skill to (too) high, that may be the reason why I could not get to beach.

Thanks for darman for creating this map, if I can get this to work, it would be avesome addition to our upcoming LAN session. We play at coop mode since we do not have enought human palyers to make it fun.
