AVRO RJ-100.
Avro RJ series has even in the economy class hands down the most comfortable seats of any airliner, whether business or economy class; soft, luxurious leather couches you can sink into. Or at least Brussles Airlines's Avros had those back in 2006-2007 when I had to commute weekly between Helsinki and Brussels.

As a Belgian i always fly Brussels Airline when i can. I take the Brussels-Oslo flight every few months.

Avro RJ-100 is also known as BAe-146-300 with improved avionics.

It is the most successful British jet ever, which is pretty sad, since only 300 something ever made. I still love it though... 4 engines, working speed brakes (Fokker style), high mounted cantilever wing... what's not to like?

I flew to Farnborough via brussels airlines with the Avro RJ 100. It was the oldest jet in the fleet, but it did made me feel very comfortable and at ease.

Only one accident was caused by the aircraft itself, and then again this was because of bad mainentance

THINGS ASIAN PARENTS DO

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD56YYhzWk5slMw4jYfuaw-0Ekt2cKMrk

If you ever wonder how to grow inside Asian (Oriental) household. Now, this is made by immigrants, for creme-de-la-creme Asians, add some kind of shield to keep them comfortable with their ignorance from the outside world, akin to white rednecks keeping their doofus antics intact, while living in a country that put men on the moon in 1969.

What they haven't say yet:
1. Asians think their food is healthier. Non-fried ones is always healthier. Soupy ones are the healthiest, despite containing nothing than just water and sometimes, unhealthy amount of salt. Among the orientals, they seemed to have mutual agreement on healthiness of each own cuisines. But when they see Indian foods, they go crazy. Western food? A short trip to heart disease!
2. Asian parents never teach you real skill, they only teach you life and other stereotypical Asian skills (Asian medicine knowledge, Asian tradition, Business, Money, bargaining/haggling, how to be cheap by recycling). All other real skills we have is acquired from professionals. Music? Private teacher! Maths? Teacher! Tooling? Friends! Fixing cars? Friends! Asian language? Private teacher! Martial arts? Private teacher/Grandpa, because dad is busy working! This is actually great and quite rational, until their expectations started to become overwhelming.
3. Professions for you that is okay for Asian parents: anything that warrants suits and ties, except sales job. Other than that: doctor/medic, IT guy, engineer. Borderline okay: scientist, researcher, lecturer, specific subject teacher (language/yoga/gym/tutor). Not okay: any field works that gets you dirty, pilot, chef, artist (painter/sculptor/musician), actor, politician, monk, public transport / truck driver, social worker, clerical job, security, police, army, and if you don't have the tradition of your parents or ancestors doing any of these jobs, don't bother convincing your parents.
4. Secretly racist, I don't think Hess or Goebbels can top them. While Hitler seems like a master race try-hard wannabe, Asian parents did a faux-pas on the subject, completely innocent and somehow okay. Anyone getting the impression that Japanese are friendly and smile at you, welcoming you at home with intricate ceremony? Tell them you are marrying their daughter / inheriting son. Want to try harder? Try Chinese. Even harder? Korean! Want to get really hurt? Listen to what they say when you are not around.
5. Extremely homophobic, anti LGBTQ. Most of us get away with this using our minority card. If you come out, you'll never be taken seriously, but if you nag too much, you'll either get sent to mental institution, disowned, disinherited, or murdered (I never heard about murder case, but it must have happened at a point).
6. Very Religious, be it Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, or sort of. Except the Japanese, most Koreans and Chinese parents are quite superstitious, and the good thing is, they treat every other gods as sacred, which means they are respectful. Respectful, except the modern movements of charismatic Christians. The worst thing is, they treat it as a give-and-take token of spiritual sacrifice-and-reward ritual. My parent urged me to pray for good fortune, pity from the gods, away from dangers, etc. Because praying for others' well-being and wisdom are stupid, since other people don't care about us and your wisdom means nothing to them.

It is all very annoying and no longer fit for modern society based on mutual understanding. Fuck Confucius!

I can vouch for this from what my half-Chinese girlfriend tells me.

Many Vietnamese immigrants are real boat people, escaping perilous situations they never imagined before. Also if you noticed, they were colonised by the French. It opens their mind up that these barbaric people do have some decency indeed.

While us, the Chinese, are convinced that once we are the only function civilisation out there, that's why it is called "Zhong Guo" (literary "central country"), the center of everything. Then the immigrants are mostly fleeing from our entitled lands, as they are being seized by the communist party of China. The rest are like my Grandfather of mother side, who were enslaved by the Japanese and get sent to work as a coolie in Indonesia. Or simply descendants from the crews of Grand Admiral Cheng Ho's who decided to stay on the land they visited. Those who stayed under foreign influence and happen to understand the virtue of other cultures, such as Qingdao, Shanghai, Hong Kong, etc, will mostly be very okay and not racist.

The Japanese on the other hand... they are secretly ambitious, very prideful, and couldn't care less. They suffer the same mentality problem that haunts the English: their little island kingdom shields them from many things. A lot of their youth nowadays (almost 70%) stated that they don't need to learn other languages, and leaving them alone is enough to make a good living. Yeah right, like all of their lavish lifestyle aren't sustained by selling goods to other countries.

Koreans are diehard fanatics and a case of bully victim fighting back. Like the Chinese, they are so convicted in their "us great, others inferior" mindset. Also, if you noticed, the only western influence they ever receive is communism and foreign troops, which doesn't bring any positive reinforcements regarding the view they hold about outsiders. Like typical Asians, any foreign concept such as communism will then be mix-mashed with silly local flairs (e.g. their own brand of Christianity like the Chinese Taiping rebels), turned into self-sustain ethos called Juche.

I need some personal experiences with my following problem. No need for internet or science stuff

One of my friends used to be addicted to weed. She stopped, because of me, thanks to me, but i never told her to stop. I always told her to enjoy life, but be cautious.

Now since last month, she has been on weed 24/7 and she broke contact with me, because she is afraid of my reaction. i personally, dont care in the end.

But its affecting her mind alot lately. She has short memory problems, barely concentrates, sometimes horrible coordination (she dropped a pint at the pub, suddently during talking). Sometimes even panic attacks.

Has anyone here, smoked weed to the same extent, or knows someone who does it aswel? and also have these complaints? Not asking for info on the internet, science studies etc. I need Personal experiences!

^ Well obviously her life is going downhill (not necessary because of weed, but some other underlying problems). Make her stop again. Back when I was in high school, there was a guy who smoked weed almost daily. He almost failed his final year! Luckily, he got a nice girlfriend that put some sense into him, and now he's in college, doing just alright.

It might be her cry for help, or she's just trying to get her mind away from other problems. Seriously, talk to her, make her open up to you and take her to some professional counseling, if you care about her.

Speaking of college... My academic life has started to go downhill too. I'm not thinking about starting to smoke weed though, instead I'm trying to research better learning and organizational skills, because my current ones kinda suck. I used to manage until now, but now the workload has risen significantly and I'm failing to make good progress.

If your first instinct was to post about this on a forum then perhaps you need to re-evaluate your friendship.
Help her d00d! Talk some sense into her (without being too preachy) or just show her a good time other than 420.

there's a difference between smoking a bunch and being addicted, you can't become addicted to weed.  That being said, it affects people differently.  I also get super clumsy and anxious when I get high, I prefer to smoke only if i don't have to go out, or if I get drunk first.  Seems weird that she's having problems with it but continues to smoke all the time.  Just talk to her about it.  Maybe offer to toke up with her or something and then have a good old heart-to-heart haha.

Yeah she has major problems. Wich she refuses to tell. She has her small group of weed smoking girl friends and its spreading out infact.

I have a theory what is wrong with her, but explaining it here would take ages. Its one gaint mess of lesbian drama and meaningless friendships. But the thing is, i dont want meaningless friendships.
I want to have good friends who dont fucking quit life because they have it bad. I've had it bad recently, i never gave up on anyone.

I am seeing her this friday and i will frikking confront her about it. But in a very calm & friendly way first.

"you cant get addicted to weed" is a petty excuse. All drugs are addictable. I have a frikking caffeine addiction.

Hopefully. She cannot continue to afford it anyway
