Modding / Re: United Front News Post X.5: Release!

I agree with everything gunnie said above.
This thread seems to have gone from a feed back on a beta for a "mini-mod" to a rant fest and attack the devs.
To just state this so no misconceptions occur. WAW and United Front share no relation in anyway other then the fact that some of the people in the UF mod are from WaW. Other than that they are both 2 separate entities who share nothing in common nor go for the same goals.
To all the World At War members who have commented thus far, do realize you represent the tournament and should be respectful at all times, even when you feel you aren't receiving that respect. You get nowhere by calling names, and shine a false and bad light on the tournament.
Like was stated, feedback is loved and accepted but not angry/hateful/offensive feedback. Toddel most of your comments in most of these UF posts has been offensive, attacking, and completely disrespectful and for that you have been called on it. Although I dislike name calling in public form I think your actions and what you have been saying in these recent post warrants the reaction you have received. I don't agree with either sides of the argument and think people should start showing their age and maturity and get back on topic but that's only if the devs act as the bigger men and do so.
I am friends with gunnie and rex and really love talking with them, which is what I was doing during the beta test. Their comments/questions/suggestions are a good format to follow straight to the point and the least bit attacking. Although I know gunnies stance on the project instead of taking the low road like some UF/FH2 members and toddel have done and just go on the attack. Gunnie tried to keep opinion out of it and suggested fixes and problems with the least amount of opinion.
Like I explained to gunnie at the beta test, UF is basically (although this may not be their stance) a group of people who do not have the greatest knowledge or skill in mapping,3d modeling etc... Working together and creating varying works in order to create a working project to hone and further their skills. It is not really a full fledged mini-mod team such as FHSW but a group of guys trying to learn how things work and increase their skills while at the same time trying to create a working program.
If we could please stop attacking each other and start providing what the thread originally asked for it would prove beneficial to all parties involved. Take opinion out of it and make trying to improve things the foremost goal. Attacking each other just makes both parties look like a bunch of 2 year olds. Its like we are a bunch of kids fighting over the proper way to play hopscotch, our opinions differ and the way we are use to doing it differs but neither is wrong or right.
Stop the attacks and lets try to make this community better and stronger!
