General Discussion / Maximum players on a server
« on: 27-08-2009, 14:08:54 »
I know this has come up before, but I can't find it.
Is the 64 players limit still a hardcoded problem?
Yesterday I tried a tool call BF64all. In it there was botchanger, which allows for coop games with over 64 bots. It was very funny on El Alamein and my PC could handle it well.

Could it work if a created a coop game with 100 bots, that more than 64 players could join that game, replacing the bots ?

General Discussion / Most lame nickname in FH
« on: 26-08-2009, 11:08:25 »
Picking up on Fearbefore's posts, I decided to dedicate a thread to most lame nicknames you have encountered and more specific expect to see during the player influx of 2.2.

We all know know the screaming Eagles kicked ass in Normandy  :) so I will be very disappointed if there is not at least three Lt. Speirs nicknamed players in one server.

What more lame nicks can you come up with.

nth is not allowed  ;)

Off-Topic / Review the latest book you have read
« on: 28-07-2009, 16:07:06 »
Use this topic the review the latest or greatest book you've read. Can be fictional or non-fictional.

I will kick-off with the latest book I've read:

The Information Officer:
Url:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Information-Officer-Mark-Mills/dp/0007276885

Plot:
This book revolves around the bombing of Malta in 1942. The main character, Max Chadwick, is an Information Officer who's job is it to spin every news of the war on Malta into something positive to maintain morale.
When he finds out a British Officer is murdering you Maltese women he embarks on a private investigation.

My view:
What I liked about the book was that that the writer didn't focus on the serial killing aspect, but uses it as a means to write about life in Malta during the bombing.
It's filled with typical British stiff upper lip humour and made me laugh out loud a few times.
I can't say if al the WWII reference are historically correct, I didn't see Tigers rolling through the streets of Malta.

If you like to read about Malta during the bombing, enjoy British humor and bit of a whodunit at the end of the book, this one is a must read.

I give a 9/10.

« on: 29-04-2009, 11:04:24 »
Read http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/975/975210p2.html.

FH2 is not the only game that goes black and white ;)
Sounds look a fun game and from a perspective not found in many WWII games.
Its also for PC.
