American super tank

Hey guys, I thought it would be a nice idea, to have a american heavy tank like "M26 Pershing" in the game. May you add it? If you are either way adding west fronts maps, it would be kind of nacessary. In the following, you find a link to Wikipedia about it.

Necessary? The M26 saw hardly any action in WW2 :p.

I believe FH2 already has one though, it just isn't used (and coding might be outdated, unure).

Yes it is already in the files, but there is no map that could use it (and also none in development).

Hi ForgottenGamer,

The FH2 Devs really focus on historical accuracy, especially when it comes to map design. As TS mentioned there are no maps in the game or upcoming which depict battles where the M26 was used, so therefore the tank is not in any of the standard maps. Sorry about that!

Only 20 Pershings were involved in combat in WW2. Maps that can use them however, are any late war-german invasion maps like the rhine crossing. Or the famous tank action in Cologne

I'm not sure, but i think it is model ported from FH 1

FH didnt have a Pershing. This is a brand new model.

It is important that we eventually get a USSR VS USA match. If we can have ramelle, we should get a alternate history map as well.

Because we lack men power to finish real maps and no one will waste time on creating alternate history, especially when such scenarios would probably need shitloads of new models. And even if Ramelle is fictional it perfectly fits WW2 and there is nothing "alternate" in it. If you're interested in alternate history go play FHSW.
