btw, i always thought that LMG are all MG34/42 on Bipod, and HMG is when its mounted on a mount like Laffete. I searched the net again and I was right.

Guys check your facts before sharing your ignorance, you might confuse more people.

Armed trucks are team locked in Hyacinth for balance reasons, make sure that armed trucks (hanomags) are locked  in Pointe du Hoc 32 too. otherwise allies usually grab them and then rape Germans to the death.

also the 32p version is 100 % allies win all the time. (HSLAN server);
1. too few tickets for attacking team
2. too large flag capture range and thus allies always spawn in it
3. lack of proper artillery for Germans.
4. even after Germans got 2 more flags + one main base (happened once), they are still have ticket bleed. IMO, when you have 3 flags vs 3 the ticket bleed should stop.
5. very hard to assault with only pick up kit mg 42. it should be limited but choosable from the spawn menu. every German squad in ww2 had the LMG.

well, as you mentioned balance, i agree that armed trucks should be locked on hyaciant. i will go further and suggest, that Hannomags would be team locked in Poit du hoc 32p

I don't know what are you complaining about guys, if you flew good in 2.15, you will be good in 2.2. simple as that. The only difference i see is that now instead of following the plane and getting on its 6, you can shoot it from top/bottom/side/front, and that is due to the hitbox fix. great improvement, now dogfights depend on luck much more.

i have a question, does FW has more HP than 109 or not. In reality liquid cooled engine was quick to catch fire if  cooling system is hit, while in FW with its aircooled engine was far more durable.

sure planes take off and land faster, but that was the case of fh1 too. just enjoy, and it is quite interesting to see more people taking up to the sky. if you, however, dislike flying now, grab flakvierling or bofors, there are good new tanks, you know, and finally - get a life.

hello guys, i don't want to sound as a nerd, but FW 190 and other planes with bubble canopy, would enjoy almost 360 degrees of  view instead of 180. the bf 109 had certain limitations in the canopy, but fw 190 is a great improvement. also is there a chance to make view distance greater? beyond 100%?  and it would be better if the planes would not explode, but rather plummet to ground leaving a smoke trail I remember this was introduced to a certain degree before, but it doesn't happen.

Its great that you made planes easier to take off/ land so many new people can try them out.

one important 25 pounder tip - if you see me in the plane don't even think about sipping coke and shooting gerries with your gun. the chances are I am coming for you. I bet many of the Hslan veterans can tell you that :)

fighter plane tips

ground attack:

tip 1. if you see friendlies killed by 25pounder, go the the enemy main base and do couple of strafe runs on enemy artillery - saves many friendly lives and gives you and easy target that 90 % of time cant shoot back, i bet they are eating chips and sipping coke while on artillery.

Tip 2 use the map/mini map. you see the grey AA icon dissapear, the go somewhere further away. Once you know the map you can practice dive attack on the AA. a good vertical attack is unstoppable by a single AA.

dogfighting

tip 3 if you are chased by enemy fighter, go to your nearest plane, even if it is the slow stuka or spotter plane. that gives your opponent to think about rechoosing the target., which gives you enough time to do a loop or a 360% and get on the 6 of the enemy. of course, it might sacrifice your wingman, but its better 1 plane for 1 plane than you and your wingmen on the ground.

tip 4 if a friendly reports that he mounted the AA, try to go near him and dogfight there the chances are that he can distinguish the planes and he would shoot down the enemy.

tip 5 never attack other plane from other position than right behind him. otherwise - waste of ammo. This was especially true before the hit-box fix with the 1.5. still it is 10 times easier to down a plane if you get on his six because you can stay there for long and do a target practise. slow down with air breaks if necessary but a 1 sec MG burst kills anything.

tip 6 the most important tip of all - as everyone said - use the mouselook but do it this way - fly sideways. when searching almost always sideways, or even belly up. that gives you more view on possible enemies. sideways - look at one side, then roll to other side and  search again. works well for any plane. you see a trail of smoke? maybe a silhouette, now get on his tail and teach him some manners

in 2.15 my FH2 would crash after every 3 maps, so i switched to medium textures and can play for days :)
all other settings maxed.
 3870 here, and fps should be around 40-50 all the time. no spikes.

A small review:

Great maps, much more evolved infantry anti-tank capability. but the best infantry's weapon is a bush, not a Pzfaust/bazooka.

Awesome fw190. Except now it seems the 20 mm HE cannons do not do splash damage against infantry...
Am I missing something, but haven't noticed any change in flying except the back cam. also, Fw190 canopy view is quite limited and the look around works only as much as in BF109, even though the FW190 had a bubble canopy, allowing to see at least 270 degrees around. The new addition to the air combat is the new hitbox system which now makes it possible to kill and aircraft from he side, which was impossible before except while shooting at stuka.

tanking combat = awesome, with hedgerows and almost instant 1shot/kill, it made me create a squad with spotter and tanker with VOIP . that way the tank was unstoppable. BY the way, when running in a squad i always feel nerfed since i can't exactly say the coordinates of the enemy tank/ infantry. Which from my experience from other mods is  not as it should be. The compass feature of the Reality MOD is excellent. instead of saying " one armor in the bushes between the smaller foxhole and the two trees", you could say "enemy armor 220".

Point Du hoc - needs a bit tweaking, as ma starts, gerries rush to the observation post and spam rifle grenades on allied spawn :) got 7 kills once with one grenade.

Don't pay attention to my suggestions, the 2.2 is miles ahead of 2.15. with great new visuals, guns, maps, statics and overall gameplay! great addition to the family!

fix me if I am wrong, but Allies have a great advantage due to lack of any kit with a machinegun on Axis side.
Please add a MG34 or 42 if appropriate. Even a terrible italian MG would do it. Because now it is simple rifles against Brens - not fair.
